10 Anti-Ageing Facial Treatments That Will Help You Look Younger
#1 MedLite Laser Treatment at La Clinic
image

Performed in under 45 minutes, the MedLite Laser treatment from La Clinic ($350 per session) treats pigmentation like age spots, freckles, birthmarks and melasma. These targeted light pulses break down pigments with minimal downtime so it’s perfect for a mid-day pampering during your lunch hour.

La Clinic is located at 290 Orchard Road, #08-01/02 Paragon Medical Centre, Singapore 238859.

#2 ProIonic V-Shape Facial at Porcelain Aesthetics
image

If regular facial just doesn’t give you the skin lifting and brightening you need, try the Porcelain Aesthetics ProIonic V-Shape Facial ($406.60) which utilises radio waves to produce a pro-ionic effect in skin tissue. Starting off with a refreshing exfoliation to get rid of dead skin cells, an Indiba Capacitive Electrode is then applied to the skin to aid lymphatic drainage. Then, the Indiba Resistive Electrode is used to increase skin’s internal temperature to promote ion movement through the cell membranes for visible wrinkle reduction, skin brightening and contouring.

Porcelain Aesthetics is located at  277 Orchard Rd, Orchard Gateway #03-13, Singapore 238851.

#3 Xeomin at David Loh Surgery
image

Sometimes, eating habits like chewing on hard food and jaw grinding can lead to overdeveloped jaw muscles. Masseter hypertrophy or more commonly known as square jaw, is often thought to be more masculine looking unlike the V-shaped face which most women desire. Xeomin (pronounced ‘zee-oh-min’) is a new generation Botulinum Neurotoxin injectable which can be instilled into the jaw muscles, reducing its size to give face a more feminine-looking V shape. Under the seasoned hands of a certified doctor, he or she will be able to determine how best Xeomin ($800) should be administered to achieve a youthful and feminine jawline.

David Loh Surgery is located at 21 Orchard Blvd, Singapore 248645.

#4 Ultherapy at Leslie Kuek Plastic Surgery Clinic
image

Like the ultrasound technology which allow gynecologists to view an unborn foetus, Ultherapy ($4,500 per session) uses ultrasound imaging to view the structure of skin at different depths in order to map out the ultrasound energy and deposit it where it’s most beneficial for the skin. A wand is then applied on the face which heats skin tissue to a temperature of 60 to 70 degree Celsius – the temperature at which skin’s regenerative process is set off. Depending on the part of the face, ultrasound energy is administered at 1.5 mm, 3 mm and 4.5 mm to stimulate collagen production and trigger tissue contraction similar to the effect of a surgical facelift. Immediate results can be seen, but the full effect of collagen growth and smoother skin comes into play in about a month when collagen regrowth can be observed.

Leslie Kuek Plastic Surgery Clinic is located at 38 Irrawaddy Road, #05-41 Mount Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre, Singapore 329563.

#5 Dream Sculpture at Sloane Clinic
image

The Dream Sculpture treatment ($1,926 per session) from Sloane Clinic is the skillful application of Sculptra on selected areas of the face. Sculptra is made from Poly-L-lactic acid which is compatible with the body and can be broken down after some time. It triggers collagen production, and is injected in parts of the face which will benefit the most from improved collagen production. As it is not a dermal filler, the results are not immediate but improvements will be apparent in about four to six weeks when collagen starts to fill in the hollows of the face.

Sloane Clinic is located at 10 Sinaran Dr, Singapore 307506.

#6 Power Fix Facial at Skin Inc
image

The Skin Inc Power Fix Facial ($188 per session) is based on a NASA study which discovered that red LED light stimulates cell healing, while blue light has an anti-inflammatory property. Choose from the Anti-Ageing Power Fix mask (red LED) which energises skin cells to produce collagen and elastin for younger-looking skin, or the Anti-Pore Power Fix mask (blue LED) to reduce inflammation and prevent breakouts.

Skin Inc is located at 2 Orchard Turn, #B3-43, ION Orchard, Singapore 23880.

#7 Lazer Whiten Eyelift at ClearSK
image

With long hours spent working in front of computer screens, it’s no wonder modern working women experience fatigue and puffiness around the eye area. Using Light & Heat Energy (LHE) technology, the ClearSK Lazer Whiten Eyelift treatment ($195 per session) is able to stimulate the production of collagen, increase skin elasticity, and improve the appearance of fine lines, dark eye circles and eye bags.

ClearSK is located at 238 Thomson Road, Level 10, Novena Square Shopping Mall, Singapore 307683.

#8 Laser Lift at IDS Clinic
image

Targeting at the fine lines around the mouth area, the IDS Clinic Laser Lift ($1,250 per session) begins with a numbing cream which is applied before a non-ablative laser is fired from the inside of the mouth. Non-ablative lasers work by heating up targeted tissue without destroying it, stimulating the body to produce collagen, filling in the hollows of the cheeks and fines. A different laser is then applied on the cheeks which delivers targeted treatment to deeper wrinkles. The final step of the treatment involves a bulk tissue heating to improve the overall tightness and elasticity of skin.

IDS Clinic is located at 8 Sinaran Drive, #05-07 to 10, Novena Specialist Centre, Singapore 307470.

#9 geneO+ Super Facial at Estetica
image

Using TrupolarRF, OxyGeneo and Ultrasound technology, the Estetica geneO+ Super Facial ($758 per session) is a three-in-one treatment which exfoliates skin, infuses nutrient-rich ingredients into the skin, and oxygenates the epidermis to heighten skin cell metabolism and blood circulation. The treatment comes in two variation, the NeoRevive boosts skin moisture while NeoBright lightens pigmentation and brightens dull complexion.

Estetica is located at112 East Coast Road, #02-22,112 Katong, Singapore 428802.

#10 360 Solutions at PPP Laser Clinic
image

With a mix of laser, light and radio frequency treatments, PPP Laser Clinic offers a 360-degree approach to achieving perfect skin, focusing on three Cs that determine a youthful visage – Colour, Consistency and Contour. Non-ablative P+ Intensive lasers ($48 per session) lighten pigmentation for even skin tone, while Fractional Laser ($108 per session) reduces acne scarring, pore size and smooths out fine lines. For those worried about slackened skin which comes with age, Collagen Remodelling ($108 per session) and Radio Frequency Skin Treatment ($88 per session) are able to firm and plump skin for a more youthful look.

PPP Laser Clinic outlets are located island wide. For more information, please visit their website.
