Skincare experts are always telling us to “moisturise, moisturise, moisturise”. This will help to prevent premature ageing, banish skin sensitivity and keep complexion plump and youthful. However, it’s not always clear how you should do it, or if you even need moisturisers in our warm and humid climate. What if you have oily skin? Does that mean you should skip moisturiser? Is it possible to use too much or too little, and if you use too much will it cause you to break out? What ingredients should you look out for to know if a moisturiser will be effective? We spoke to two dermatologists to get you six facts about moisturisers and tips you should definitely know about.
