Hong Kong superstar Chow Yun-fat, 63, reportedly plans to give away his entire fortune to various charities. The Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon actor’s net worth is valued at a whopping S$982 million, yet the humble star is said to live on a frugal $140 a month, takes public transport instead of a flashy car, and still uses an old Nokia phone.
I mean, which multi-millionaire actor would line up for his own movies, just like any regular Joe? He expresses that the money is not his, and that he’s only keeping it “safe for the time being”.
“The hardest thing in life is not about how much money you earn, but how to keep a peaceful mindset and live the rest of your life in a simple and carefree manner,” says Yun-fat.

We could indeed all learn a thing or two from this man’s humble outlook on life and generous nature.
