As an ode to the iconic event, DZ Engineering SRL is launching the Twelve Years of Lights and Racing in the Lion City, a photographic exhibition at The Arts House. It will showcase the works of Italian F1 photographer Flavio Mazzi, and chronicles the trajectory of the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Singapore from its inaugural race in 2008.

Singapore will be hosting a specially-created Lego replica of the sleek McLaren Formula 1 race car as it makes its first pit stop in Southeast Asia! Catch the life-sized model – its made up of 288,315 Lego bricks and measures 5.7 metres in length and 2.4 metres in width – at the Lego Technic McLaren Formula 1TM Pop-Up Experience.

In tandem with the F1 season, the Kampong Gelam neighbourhood is set to come alive with a 10-day celebration of the F1 season, as well as the neighbourhood’s vibrance and subculture.
Over at the Aliwal Street carpark, fill your bellies at the 15 grab-and-go food stations doling out local street and trendy food favourites from vendors like The Satayman, Yok_Makanz and Picanhas’. Meanwhile, the outdoor area at Sultan Gate Park has been transformed into a battleground, where you can watch BMX street riders battle it out at the BMX Street Battle 2022 extreme sports competition.
Or swing by the outdoor cinema (in partnership with Cinewav) and catch blockbuster films such as Jumanji The Next Level and The Matrix, as well as children-friendly flicks like The Karate Kid and Encanto. On Sep 27 and 28, F1 and arcade aficionados can also look forward to a pop-up F1 Truck with various games.
