If there’s one thing to look forward to on Eid, apart from the family reunions and delicious food, it’s the fashion. Come Hari Raya, it is popular for families to be dressed in coordinated colours or patterns as they go about their visits, symbolising togetherness and unity.

The soccer legend and his youngest son Iryan wore gleaming pink baju Melayu that came with a samping (a shorter version of a sarong), while the ladies sported flowing pale pink jubah with intricate detailing and cascading sleeves. Missing from the family picture are Irfan, Ikhsan and Ilhan who are currently overseas.
Actress and entrepreneur Nadiah M Din, 33, celebrated Raya with her family in Melaka this year. The 33-year-old and her daughter Inaaya look beautiful in flowing champagne layers with glittering trims, while her husband and sons Nayan and Ezhaan sported beige hues and samping in intricate songket fabric. Of course, baby Naeema, whom they welcomed in February this year, was dressed in the same colour scheme, too.
Blue seems to be influencer and entrepreneur Andrea Chong’s favourite colour when it comes to family outfits. Together with her husband Imran Rahim and their two sons Ezra and Elia, they sported varying shades of solid blue for Hari Raya. They wore a similar colour palette for Chinese New Year earlier this year too.
Actress Nurul Aini’s family outfits were themed around a gorgeous blue-ish green palette. She and her daughters Shaista Eman and Shania Eva donned teal-hued kebayas from local label Mozaic Singapore (which she admitted to getting just two days ahead of Hari Raya), while her husband, property agent Sofian Roslan and her son Shan Ehan are dressed in vibrant shades of sage and yellow.
Actor, comedian, entertainer and radio DJ Suhaimi Yusof’s family — that’s his wife Siti Yuhana Sulaiman, and their three children Sufi, Nurjannah, and Amirul — sure share his comedic humour with those fun poses. They also look smashing in royal blue, with the men’s dark gold samping lending an elegant contrast.
You don’t have to wear identical patterns and prints for matching clothes, as TV presenter Huda Ali and actor Den Sabari’s family of four shows. Together with their two kids Leia Qaseh and Luke Qalish, they played up their black-and-white looks with different patterns.
