If travel’s not yet on the agenda, or if you’re having holiday blues from a recent trip, a staycation’s perfect for a brief respite. And recently, yet more well-loved hotels have reopened, from the ones that have been closed due to the pandemic, to ones that have just emerged from a refresh. Here’s where to add to your staycation list.
Since the start of September, Village Hotel Sentosa has reopened its doors to staycation-goers. And to celebrate, it has rolled out a Village Playcation package that invites families to experience the hotel’s new offerings. It includes a two-night stay in a Family Room, a choice of one mini hotelier experience, unlimited access to Playtivities and more.
What’s the Mini Hotelier experience? Kids can choose from one of these five options — Mini Artist, Mini Housekeeper, Mini Engineer, Mini Chef and Mini Gardener — and take part in fun educational activities and workshops related to these roles.
There are lots more to entertain the kiddos too, from a village cart with nostalgic snacks to a balloon sculpting booth, free-flow ice cream and popcorn, family aqua zumba, movie screenings as well as meet-and-greet sessions with the hotel’s adorable mascots – Village Explorers: Vin and Vee.
Otherwise, you can spend time lazing at the various pools, from the Children’s Play Pool to the Lazy River Pool, Adventure Pool, and the Pamukkale Pool.
Available till Dec 23, 2022, the Village Playcation room package is priced from $1,180 nett for a two-night stay in a Family Room. Visit Village Hotel Sentosa’s website for bookings or more information.
Gear up for a rockin’ good time at the newly refreshed Hard Rock Hotel which welcomed guests back to its premises in May this year.
Music lovers can enjoy The Sound of Your Stay — a complimentary all-encompassing music amenities programme that allows guests at Hard Rock Hotel Singapore to download songs for free or jam out with their favourite Fender guitar. Or if a wellness retreat is more your thing, get on the Rock Om yoga programme.
The hotel has special reopening packages too, like the Two-Night Rockstar Thrills and Wonders ($746++ for those who pay by Mastercard), which includes two Universal Studios Singapore One-Day Tickets as well as two S.E.A. Aquarium One-Day Tickets, alongside F&B and retail vouchers.
For a one-night stay, go for the One-Night Rockstar Reset ackage (from $334++ for those who pay by Mastercard), which gets you the Deluxe Room, daily breakfast for two, $78 dining credits, and two welcome drinks.
