Gone are the days when members of the royal family try to keep their personal lives away from the public eye. In the day and age of Instagram, keeping people up-to-date with one’s life not only earns you followers, but can also raise your profile – especially if you’re royalty doing good deeds.
Kensington Palace is one example. They have been using Instagram to keep people updated on Prince Harry, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s activities, mostly charity-based.
In Asia, a prince is also gaining online popularity, but it’s mostly thanks to his good looks and the fact that he is the fourth son of the sultan of Brunei.
