If you’ve been binge-watching ‘Physical:100’ on Netflix, then you would know that the reality show has been climbing the charts on the global streaming service over the past few weeks. It’s been the most-talked-about show in Singapore and its viewership ratings have skyrocketed since it made its debut in January.
For the unacquainted, the premise of the show is simple: 100 contestants ranging from Olympians professional athletes to bodybuilders, MMA fighters and highly trained former soldiers to civilian fitness hobbyists, put their strength to the test to stand a chance to win the 300 million won cash prize. In fact, fans of the survival show have also compared it to the fictional dystopian horror-drama ‘Squid Game‘, after seeing the brutal challenges that contestants have to go through to survive each quest.
With the last episode of the show set to be released on Feb 21 (Tues), here’s a look back at some of the contestants who have participated in the show.
Choo Sung-hoon otherwise known by his Japanese name, Yoshihiro Akiyama, is a fighter for ONE Championship and UFC.
