To have a getaway that lasts slightly longer than a week, book a getaway from March 24 to April 1, 2018. This means you only need to take leave from March 26 to 29. A return trip to Male, the capital of Maldives costs only $450. It’s a real steal. Take your loved ones to the Maldives so that you can get away from it all. Snorkel, have romantic candlelit dinners, take long walks on the beach, and rest in huts that perch above pristine blue waters.
Best of all, with eight days of holiday, you get plenty of time to rejuvenate your mind before returning to work!
If you take leave from May 2 to 4, 2018, you can cash in on Labour Day and double the length of your holiday, making it last from May 1 to 6. The cheapest return flight costs around $460. Visit monasteries, temples, or palaces at Kathmandu, or simply walk among the people in quaint villages. There’s a lot of nature and culture that us city-dwellers don’t get to experience as much.
If you’re up for a slightly more physical adventure, you could sign up for a trek along the Himalayan foothills or hike up one of the many nearby mountains to see the sunrise.
Book your leave on May 28 and 30, 2018 to have a five day holiday from May 26 to 30, 2018, over Vesak Day. That’s three extra days added to your break! Treat yourself to a well-deserved shopping break in Korea. It’s the best place to stock up on all your Korean beauty products at relatively more affordable prices.
Fuel up in-between your shopping sprees with delicious and piping hot street food that’s so ubiquitous you’ll probably find rows and rows of them no matter which shopping district you are in. In Korea during the May period, temperatures will hover around 25 degrees celsius, the perfect aircon weather to shop in, don’t you think?
Take just one day of leave on June 14, 2018 to extend the Hari Raya long weekend. Return flights are as cheap as $400 (for now), so book early.
