Maybe there’s something we don’t know about finding love on a K-drama set. It seems like it’s the place to be if you’re looking for Mister or Miss Right. Just ask Son Ye-jin and Hyun-bin whose love blossomed after playing the titular roles in hit K-drama Crash Landing On You. Just in case you need more proof that cupid tends to hand around on film sets, let’s take a look at other K-drama couples who made their fans’ fantasies come true by tying the knot in real life:
One of the most popular on-screen pairs to have gotten hitched is Hyun-bin and Son Ye-jin, otherwise known as the BinJin couple. The two played star-crossed lovers in the South Korean drama Crash Landing On You, with Hyun-bin starring as a North Korean soldier, and Son Ye-jin as a South Korean actress.
Their nuptials (Mar 31, 2022) were deemed the wedding of the year in the entertainment industry, and reportedly cost $190,000. The garden celebration was held at a luxury hotel, with guests like Gong Yoo, Jang Dong-gun and Song Joong-ki in attendance.
The two didn’t just get married, they also welcomed a baby boy in Nov 2022.
