It’s been hot, hot, hot in Singapore lately and the sun has been blazing. But don’t let that deter your fun – have a splashing great time with the kids at one of Singapore’s many aqua parks and playgrounds.
Many remain closed due to the pandemic, but here are some great options that have opened. Now, water you waiting for?
The deep-sea themed indoor water playground features multiple play decks, five giant slides, spraying water guns and more.
Plus, the water is kept at a fairly comfortable room temperature, so the little ones will have no trouble getting in.

Wildly snaking slides pepper the landscape at this water theme park — the largest in Singapore.
Also for thrill-seekers: a gigantic wave pool, a raft slide and more!
Or, a lazy pool and other child-friendly water features like splashing pools even for the toddlers. Complimentary life jackets and baby carriers are available to borrow too.

Looking to cool off after an afternoon of kite flying? Then Marina Barrage offers the ideal location.
The water play area is small but children are allowed to skip and hop amongst the fountains and shallow water features.

This new playground in the heart of Toa Payoh truly has it all: a water play area, a huge sand pit, swings, trampolines, a flying fox, and a track for scooters and bicycles. Plus, you won’t have to worry about the kids getting too dirty because there are shower stalls available for them to rinse off after playing.

Taking over the former Big Splash site at East Coast Park, the new Coastal PlayGrove boasts a 12-metre tube slide, a four-storey high Play Tower, a nature playgarden, and of course, water play areas.
Here, you’ll find wading pools, streams, and water jets that light up at night. The water play areas are also wheelchair-accessible, so everyone can join the fun.

This colourful two-storey playground is where you’ll find slides, water jets, and sprays. There’s also a wading pool with a little bucket seat carousel for the younger ones.
To unwind after a fun-filled day, take a relaxing ride down the Lazy River. Or, for adventurous older kids, take on the Stingray wave riding experience.

Of course we didn’t forget, we were just saving arguably the best for last.
Thrill seekers will love the biggest, baddest rides like the Spiral Washout and Pipeline Plunge, while little kids have their own share of attractions to explore too. Including the stingrays and marine life, yup!
