The hit Broadway musical is back and will run from now till August 25 2018 at the Mastercard Theatres in Marina Bay Sands.
Starring a star-studded cast from different cultures and nationalities, The Lion King Musical is an event not to be missed.
Follow the legendary tale of young Simba the lion as he embarks on his journey to becoming the king of the Pride Lands in Africa. Along the way, Simba encounters some set backs and meets a whole host of new friends who teach him a thing or two about the circle of life.
Performance times are 7.30pm from Tuesday to Friday and 2pm and 7.30pm on Saturdays. Sunday show times are 1pm and 6pm.

Celebrating local talent and writing in the Lion City, the Singapore Theatre is presented by local threatre group W!LD RICE and showcases eight brand new productions conceptualized and created by local writers and producers. It runs for three weeks showcasing stories that will entertain, amuse and make you think and has since 2006, been the only festival in Singapore that focuses on presenting fully realized productions of new local writing.
It’s time to celebrate all things food here, from hawker centres to Michelin-starred restaurants, all at the Singapore Food Festival. Held over a weekend, this festival is all about showcasing the best in food in the city – and as we all know, there’s a lot to be proud of. Expect to sample local favourites as well as innovative collaborations between chefs, as well as entertainment such as musical performances and cooking classes.
Head over to Gardens by the Bay for this floral exhibition that will showcase garden designs and floral creations for a little home inspo. It doesn’t matter if you’re a serious gardener or just have an interest in plants, this festival will inspire you with new ways to decorate the house (or your room) and the variety of plants will astound you.
Winner of hit show RuPaul Drag Race Season 9 and reigning queen, Sasha velour visits Singapore for the first time to perform some of her famous numbers like “Cellophane,” This Woman’s Work” and “Don’t Cry Out Loud,” not to mention some brand new material.
If you love cats, this two day cat festival shouldn’t be missed. The inaugural Cat Festival will see a curated list of programmes for pet owners to learn more about cat care. Pet owners can also shop for food items and toys for cats.

The largest baby fair happening in Singapore, Baby World Fair is back with a whole host of discounts, deals and so much more for expecting and new mothers.
Besides toys, baby food and accessories, there are also feeding areas and nursing rooms for mothers looking to get some respite from the hustle and bustle of the baby fair.
