Pets are like our children, and you can’t help but feel terrible pangs of guilt for leaving them alone at home. But now, thanks to the sensitivity and thoughtfulness of animal lovers of Singapore, the number of pet-friendly cafes in our city is on the rise. You finally get to chill with your furkids at someplace other than a park or your home!

Here’s a list of the top pet-friendly cafes where your furry love can spend quality time with you, mingle with other paw-ssible friends and have a ball (though hopefully not a brawl)!

1. Three Buns Quayside

This award-winning and pup-friendly establishment at Robertson Quay serves up yummy tropical cocktails and delicious burgers with premium grass-fed Australian beef, the same quality beef that your furry friend gets to enjoy as well. (There’s also a weekend brunch menu from 11am to 4pm where you can savour other offerings like buttermilk pancakes.) Plus, your furry friend dines for free (with every burger and/or dog order).

The Coastal Settlement

Nestled away in Changi is this gorgeous vintage-themed cafe surrounded by lush greenery. There’s tons of space for your fur kids (and human kids) to roam, as you sit back and enjoy yummy dishes from pizzas to curry chicken.

3. Happenstance Cafe

Happenstance Café is a great place to bring your furry friend along for a birthday treat where they get to mingle with other four-legged visitors. This indoor space has plenty of amenities like poo dumps and pee trays, and fresh bowls of water set out for your furry friends.

Make sure you make reservations in advance to ensure that there’s a space for you and your pal.

4. Sun Ray Cafe

One of the most pet-friendly places in Singapore, Sun Ray Café offers a warm and relaxing ambience with a separate “paws allowed” room, for both you and your four-legged friend.

These guys even have a special “Food for Fur Kids” menu that includes homemade doggy treats and birthday cakes. If any canine celebrations are on the cards, this little gem is definitely your go-to place!

5. The Green Door

Tucked away in a quiet corner of Dempsey Hill, The Green Door is an unexpected find, complete with vintage furniture and great food.

While you enjoy a cocktail, your pets can enjoy a drink out of their own water bowls.

And since it’s their big day, feeding them with tidbits off your plate is a great way of making their day.

6. Ah B Cafe

Located within Sunny Complex, this might just turn out to be the perfect celebratory destination for your little one. After a hearty splash at the complex’s pet-friendly pool, head straight to Ah B Café where our friends can lounge on the special bean bag seats or roam around freely within the café compounds.

While the establishment serves meals only for humans, ‘Pawlicious’ next door rustles up some amazing treats for your furry pals.

This is a dream spot for the birthday guy (or girl), complete with finest gourmet grubs, day care, grooming services as well as a colourful playground. Your buddy can even tuck into a grain-free Chicken Terrine, a house specialty at Wagging Rights.
