Meghan’s belly button was easily visible during her most recent public engagement, when she visited one of her new patronages, British charity SmartWorks.

Some eagle-eyed belly watchers said it turned from an ‘innie’ into an ‘outie’ and that’s a sign that she’s carrying a baby girl.

It’s said that if you’re carrying high, congratulations – it’s a girl! And Meghan’s belly does seem to be rather pointed and high up on her abdomen rather than wide and low.

But there could be another reason for her high belly. If it’s a first pregnancy and the pregnant mum’s body is in good shape, her stomach muscles, body shape, and how much weight she gains during the pregnancy will all play a role in how she’s carrying.

When you crave for sweet foods like chocolates and yummy ice-cream, you are having a baby girl.

While Meghan was still hiding her pregnancy, she did an interview where she revealed that her favourite breakfast to eat at the time was an acai bowl with berries, bee pollen and manuka honey. This is definitely a sweet but healthy treat for the Duchess and we think it ticks the ‘having a girl’ box too.

Meghan’s beautiful waves are her crowning glory but we think her hair has been looking less than stellar since she announced her pregnancy news. The Duchess is often seen sweeping her hair into a low chignon these day whereas she used to let loose last time.

We wonder why? It could be because she’s carrying a little bundle of girly joy. According to some old wives tales, if your hair looks thin and dull, it means that you’re carrying a girl. Whereas, shiny and glossy hair indicates that you are carrying a baby boy.

Meghan has been a picture of grace throughout her pregnancy so far. The former actress hasn’t faltered once during her public outings so we definitely think she’ll welcome a girl into her loving arms.

It’s believed by many that if you remain graceful throughout your pregnancy, you are going to have a beautiful baby girl.

Some researchers say how much your bosom swells can be an sign of your baby’s gender during pregnancy. We can’t know for sure but Meghan does look like she’s increased her bust size since her happy news.

Apparently, when you notice a dramatic change in the size of your boobs, you’re expecting a girl. In the case of a baby boy, the change is not even noticeable.
