Enjoy a day of outdoor fun as you kayak through one of Singapore’s largest mangrove riverine ecosystems, Khatib Bongsu.
Explore Singapore’s almost-forgotten natural river as the trail takes you through the Old Trees Ways, Perepat Hunt, Albizia Lagoon, and The Seletars. And don’t worry if you’ve never kayaked before – no experience is needed for the trail, and all kayaking equipment will be provided.

Groove to the beat along with your kids in this parent-child workshop. The foundational workshop will teach you the basics of not one, not two, but five genres of Malay dance. You’ll also get the chance to learn more about the props used to deepen your understanding and appreciation of the art form.
This activity is recommended for kids aged three to eight. Accompanying adults must be above 16.

Animal-lovers can look forward to the ACRES open house, where you’ll get the chance to explore ACRES on a tour guided by staff and volunteers. Visit the Outdoor Sanctuary, where you can get get up close with various animals from the illegal wildlife trade who have found a temporary home at the centre.
There will also be a fun and educational treasure hunt, where the kids can solve clues to find the ‘treasure’ and win prizes.
In the event of heavy rain, a virtual tour of the indoor veterinary treatment will be conducted instead of a physical tour of the outdoor area.

What is nature documentation, you might be wondering? Well, it’s making use of techniques such as scientific drawing, nature journaling, and gyotaku printing to document the nature that you see around you.
In this workshop, you’ll get to try out different nature documentation techniques, and even bring home a tote bag with a gyotaku print done during the workshop. Through the process of nature documentation, you’ll increase your awareness and awareness of Singapore’s biodiversity and natural heritage.
The programme also includes a guided tour of the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum, where you’ll learn more about Singapore’s biodiversity and pioneer naturalists.

The Army Open House is finally back after five long years!
Challenge your family to see who can complete the Soldier Strong Obstacle Course fastest, or experience what it’s like on board one of SAF’s military platforms in the Battle Rides. There will also be plenty of fun activities for the young ones, with a dedicated Kids Zone where you’ll find activities such as camo face painting, balloon sculpting, a jungle maze, and a mini obstacle course.
Plus, there will be performances, and an Army Showcase with the Red Lions making a much-anticipated appearance.
