The June Holidays are upon us, which means a whole month of activities to plan for the kids.

Snap some family pictures and be awed by the beautiful installations at the i Light festival, which will feature creative artworks from both professional and student artists. For a multi-sensory journey, you can also embark on a specially constructed floating pontoon boat at the Lower Boardwalk at Marina Bay.
There will also be a ticketed area – the Lightwave: Isle of Light – that has five unique zones with immersive features. Enjoy enchanting holographic projections, illuminated motion-capture graphics and shadows, and light beams that will remind you of a mystical forest.

Gardens by the Bay’s Children’s Festival is back, and it features eight giant inflatable installations and two interactive zones.
Themed Around the World with Kiztopia, the eight inflatable installations will feature well-loved Kiztopia Friends characters in hot-air balloons, all hailing from different countries. These Instagram-worthy installations measure up to 12.5 metres tall, and bear iconic international landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and Mount Fuji.
There will also be two ticketed interactive zones for the kids to enjoy. At Happy’s Craft World, kids can try their hand at a variety of craft activities, including clay art painting and scratch painting. Meanwhile, Tiger’s Sports Arena features five inflatables of sports and carnival games such as basketball and ring toss.

Fees: Admission to the festival is free. Tickets for the interactive zones are priced at $8 per person for one craft activity at Happy’s Craft World, and $18 per person to enter Tiger’s Sports Arena. Children’s Season is back this year with a whole range of fun and educational activities across the different participating museums and galleries.
This will be the first night-themed Children’s Season, so get ready for night-time storytelling, craft activities, and opportunities for the kids to explore the museums after the sun sets. If you’re up for the challenge, pick up an event passport, and go around collecting stamps from all the participating museums. Then, watch as these uniquely-designed passport stamps come alive in the dark.

After five long years, the Army Open House is finally back.
While there is a virtual exhibition and two heartland locations this year, the main exhibition will take place at the F1 Pit Building. Experience what it’s like on board one of SAF’s military platforms in the Battle Rides, or take on the Soldier Strong Obstacle Course. There will also be a dedicated Kids Zone with plenty of fun activities for the little ones, including camo face painting, balloon sculpting, a jungle maze, and a mini obstacle course.

This June Holidays, it’s all about dinosaurs at the Singapore Discovery Centre.
