The name of this restaurant tells you exactly what you’ll get here. You’ll feel like you’re walking down the streets of Penang, except you’ll be feasting in air-conditioned comfort. There’s a huge variety of Penang hawker food here, with favourites like Penang Assam Laksa, Penang Rojak and Penang Hokkein Prawn Noodles.

An award-winning restaurant that has been around for years and still pulls in the crowds, Carousel truly has an international feel, with Mediterranean, Asian, Japanese, French cuisines and a selection of seafood to choose from. Make sure you leave some space for dessert because you don’t want to miss out on the various drool-worthy sweet treats on offer here.

The buffet here has a good mix of Mediterranean and local cuisines and the bright and spacious restaurant might even make you feel like you’re dining in the Mediterranean (we always have plenty of sunshine after all). There are lunch buffets every weekday and and dinner buffets everyday but you can opt to order from the a la carte menu too.

If hawker centres and food courts aren’t your thing, this is where you should go for the best of local food. Served in a contemporary marketplace setting, this restaurant at the Grand Hyatt is a celebration of local cuisine, with its uniquely Singaporean mix of taste, sights and sounds. Dine on everlasting favourites such as Hainanese chicken rice, beef rendang, laksa and tandoori chicken. And don’t forget to check out the amazing dessert line-up, which includes popular local favourite, homemade durian ice-cream.

With a good mix of Asian and Western cuisines offered in this buffet, this is a must-try for serious seafood lovers. And you won’t have to jostle for space or portions either as there’s always plenty to go round. Get your fix of premium crabs, oysters, mussels and prawns – just don’t be shellfish about your food.

Local and regional favourites are the order of the day here, as its name suggests. There is also a nice mix of pan-Asian dishes on offer. Plus, there are also live action stations where you’ll be entertained while your food is being prepared. Just make sure you don’t get too distracted that you miss out on your food.

It’s been around since 1985 so you know you’re getting quality food loved by many. Enjoy the mix of traditional Balinese cuisine as well as several fusion Indonesian dishes too.

You won’t leave the continent but you’ll definitely be very well fed indeed. With a wide variety of hearty dishes from Singapore and the rest of Asia, you have every excuse to indulge in all the exotic flavours on offer. Fresh seafood is available too – oysters, flower crabs, salmon sashimi – and you certainly won’t get enough of local favourites such as nasi lemak, oyster omelette and curry lembu. Then wash it all down with refreshing desserts like sago gula melaka and ais kacang.
