Last Wednesday, news broke that Alain Ong, chief executive officer at Pokka and husband to local star Vivian Lai, had been suspended from his management position as part of an internal audit. Reports say that up to eight executives have been suspended following this shake-up, pending internal investigations.

However, Vivian’s contract with Pokka as their brand ambassador, remains unchanged. The 41-year-old actress has been endorsing the brand for about ten years.

In January this year, the bubbly actress-host, moved into her dream home. She spent three years looking for the perfect place, before finally choosing a three-storey semi-detached house. Here’s everything you need to know about her gorgeous home…

1. It's home to six people

Vivian resides in the house with Alain, their two daughters, as well as two domestic helpers.

2. Her semi-detached house is worth an estimated $8 million

Her 3,500 square feet home is located in central Singapore and is estimated to be worth a cool $8 million, Lianhe Zaobao reported. It also houses a pool. She has finally fulfilled her longtime wish of owning a piece of landed property, Vivian told the paper.

3. The three-storey house has multiple bedrooms

Entering Vivian’s home, visitors will be greeted by the living room which is connected to an open concept kitchen and patio. The master bedroom and Vivian’s dressing room/workspace occupy the second floor while the couple’s daughters’ bedrooms take up the rooms on the third floor.

4. It even has a family room for karaoke...

And when the family are in the mood to belt out some tunes, they can do so in the privacy of their soundproof karaoke room located in the basement.

5. It has a modern, contemporary style

Vivian joked that friends are surprised by the contemporary design of her home, which is unlike the girlish sweet style she’s known for. That’s because she has matured and her tastes have evolved, she quipped.
