Local actress Jacelyn Tay has split with her husband of eight years. She made the announcement on her Instagram page over the weekend (November 18, 2018). The actress did not say what the reason behind the split was, adding, “I do not think I owe anyone the reason for divorce except to my son.”

The Friends alum announced her divorce from Justin Theroux in February of this year. They were married for just three years but had dated for seven. In a statement issued by her publicist, Jennifer said, “Normally we would do this privately, but given that the gossip industry cannot resist an opportunity to speculate and invent, we wanted to convey the truth directly.”
Korean actress Park Eun Hye filed for divorce from her non-celebrity husband in September after 10 years of marriage. The reason? A clash of personalities. Eun Hye tied the knot in 2008 to a businessman who was four years her senior. The couple have a pair of twin sons together.

The Crown star Claire Foy and actor Stephen Campbell Moore met on the set of the 2011 film Season of the Witch. They got married in 2014 and welcomed a daughter a year later. After being married for four years, the couple revealed their separation, and said that they have been broken up “for some time.”

Korean actress Jung Ka Eun announced her divorce in January after two years of marriage. The actress married a non-celebrity in 2016 and gave birth to a daughter the same year. Her agency confirmed her divorce in an official statement, saying, “Jung Ka Eun decided to part ways with her husband after an amicable agreement. She will be taking custody of their daughter.”

Jenna Dewan had a fairytale romance with husband Channing Tatum after they met on the set of movie Step Up. But after being together for more than a decade, the couple announced their shocking split on social media in April. They added that there were no “secrets” or “salacious events” that factored into their decision.

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole split from husband Liam Payne of One Direction in July. They have one child together, son Bear who she gave birth to in March 2017. “Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together,” wrote Liam on Twitter of the divorce.
Alicia Silverstone confirmed she split from her husband Christopher Jarecki in February after a 20-year relationship. The Clueless actress married punk rocker Christopher in 2005 and they welcomed their son Bear, now aged six, in 2011. They will continue to co-parent.

Singaporean socialite Arissa Cheo ended her marriage with Taiwanese actor-singer Van Ness Wu in June. The pair married in 2013 but a statement from her lawyer read: “At this point, she is left with no other alternative. She has worked hard for this marriage but given the unhappy state of affairs, she has decided to end it as she no longer wishes to continue to live in hurt and pain.”
Jen split for beau Ben Affleck three years ago but they only finalised their divorce in August 2018. Their final settlement took so long because Ben had to complete his stint in rehab first for substance abuse problems. The pair will continue to raise their kids together.
