His owners say he had shown signs of heart problems ever since his “best friend” – a dog called Buddy – died in 2017.
“We think his heart literally broke when Buddy left us,” they wrote.
Boo had 600,000 followers on Instagram, made TV appearances, and even released a book called Boo – the life of the world’s cutest dog.

The Internet is rightly obsessed with Shiba Inus (thanks to that timeless Doge meme) and Maru is one of the most followed on Instagram with some 2.5 million followers.
You’ll find adorable snaps of Maru doing regular doggie things on his feed like snuggling with his toys and generally being adorable. It doesn’t hurt that he’s crazy photogenic too!
Norbert is a three-pound therapy dog who’s also the star of his own children’s book and has his very own plush toy available for purchase.
And just look at his little tongue hanging out! If you don’t follow him just for that then your heart is probably made out of stone.

Another Pom this time but Bertie Bert stands out cause he looks like a wee little bear. Just look at that adorable face? How can you say no to that?
Ber twas abandoned by his breeder at a NYC pet shelter but luckily artist Kathy Grayson found him on petfinder and immediately decided to adopt the pup. He broke the Internet shortly after and we can totally understand why.

Aside from his clever name (kudos to his owner for coming up with Corgnelius for a corgi), the crazy cute pup provides fluffy butt selfies galore.
Just oogle that behind when you’re looking for a fluff fix! There’s also lots of snaps of Corgnelius snoozin’, which is the best way to capture a still of a dog in our opinion.
What’s a Chiweenie you ask? It’s Tuna! A dachshund-chihuahua mix who’s stolen the hearts of his almost 2 million followers with his overbite.
He kind of looks like he’s perpetually judging us with those beady eyes and that’s part of the reason we love him.
View this post on InstagramMy favourite part about this photo is that he’s foaming at the mouth a little ?? #HappyMonday

His owners set up an account for him when he was just a few weeks old and before long, people were swooning over his mushy face.
