Remember Molly, the little doll with pouty lips that comes in various designs and that is still in production to this day? Well, it’s been 15 years, and they are celebrating the milestone with pop-up art installations at various CapitaLand malls.
With 16 larger-than-life exhibitions spread out across the island, visit Molly and enjoy the four different themes of ‘Yummy Party’, ‘One Day of Molly’, ‘Molly My Childhood’, and ‘MEGA Space Molly’ (making its debut at Funan Mall!). Make sure to keep your eyes peeled during the space exhibition because you just might see our favourite yellow sponge who lives under the sea.
Make sure to have your phones ready to capture your little ones with the 70cm tall statues of Molly surrounded by beautiful decoration. At the same time, try their AR filter and tag them to stand a chance to win rewards!

Asian folklore and literature are full of mythical creatures, and Asian Civilisations Museum aims to help children learn about these amazing animals through immersive storytelling, child-friendly workshops, and craft activities for the little ones to get some hands-on fun.
Included in the programme is ‘An Explorer’s Guide to Fantastic Creatures’, a self-guided tour through the galleries to search for these fantastical creatures with the family. It comes with an activity book for the kids to fill in. At the end, you can exchange the book with a puzzle kit to bring home so that you and the kids can build 3D cardboard pencil holders of a rabbit or an elephant, both inspired by animal-related objects in the ACM collection.
Afterwards, you can check ACM’s Facebook page and tune in to their storytelling sessions where the performers bring the otherwordly creatures to life.

For the holidays, the National Museum has set up two interactive installations suitable for the whole family, including grandparents! In the showcases titled ‘Our Home’ and ‘Our School’, little ones can experience what it was like to attend school in the olden days. Think of it as your kids having a taste of your own life, or maybe your parents’.
However, that’s not all. If you would like, you can purchase the Story Collector Starter Pack for $6 for your children. In it, there will be stationery and fun activities to be done that are inspired by the exhibits. Your little ones can play games, design their own school uniform, write to a special senior pen pal, and more with the pack!

It’s time to go on a hunt with the crew of National Museum’s own Otterly Famstastic video. With the otters, explore the museum, solve riddles, and discover little-known facts about the artefacts within the museum’s walls. There are two adventures you and the family can go on. The first is ‘Dennis the Otter’s First Day of School’, where you can search the area for eight things that he needs for his first day of school. This search has a focus on alphabets, numbers, and colours.
The second is titled ‘Dennis the Otter’s Little Day Out’, where you have to find eight other things to prepare Dennis for his day out. This one has a focus on shapes and opposites.
With each ticket, booklets will be given to help your child understand the concepts better and progress through the hunt.

It’s time to go on a forest adventure with Otah and his friends. Inspired by nature’s wildlife, this event mixes fun with education through play. You and the kids can look forward to multi-room sets, imaginative storytelling, and interactive game technology, all designed to encourage family bonding.
For the rooms, you can expect a dark maze, a ball pit, rope obstacle courses, and an original arcade game starring Otah and his friends. In the process, collect badges that will afterwards be given up to an ancient star so that it can reach the sky. There will also be puzzles for your children to work their brains a little.

Now, we don’t know about you, but we can never say no to life-sized Pokémon silly dancing. Thankfully for us, the Eevee Dance Parade is coming to Sentosa for families to enjoy. Featuring not one, but 15 of them, the Eevees will put on a 30-minute show against the scenic Sentosa sunset at Palawan Green. Make sure to have your phones at the ready, because you never know if your children will start breaking out into the dance with the Pokémon.
