Inspired by the illuminating colours of Avatar 2, Changi’s 3km light-up is filled with life-sized dinosaurs and an otherworldly glow. With approximately 1,100 levitating jellyfish beneath the T2 Skytrain decks and 4,000 dandelions on the trail, the trail can be experienced by foot or on a bicycle but do not be too alarmed when you spot dinosaurs all decked out in their adorable festive gear.

If you’re feeling peckish after the trail, head onto terminal 2 (opposite carpark 2A) for a quick bite. For the first time, a community of food trucks at the start of the Park Connector will be bringing you local fare, burgers and freshly-churned ice cream, so fuel up before you embark on this mystical journey.

Inculcate a habit of independent learning with Book Bugs
image

National Library Board’s (NLB) popular bug-themed collectible card game, Book Bugs, have made a comeback to encourage children to take ownership of their own reading and learning journey.

Book Bugs: Rescuers of the Lost transports young readers to the world of Bugtopia and turns them into the story’s protagonists who have the power to determine the land’s future. As the narrative unfolds at every turn, the only way for young readers to save Bugtopia and its lost stories is to read as many books as possible from public libraries across Singapore.

NLB has specially curated an immersive world-building experience so that families can enjoy an exciting series of Book Bugs events starting with Community Day at the Jurong Regional Library on 16 Dec 2022

Happening on 16 December 2022. Jurong Regional Library.
