Suntec City is jazzing it up with Christmas in the City, by bringing the festive cheer to everyone in the family. Featuring an all-encompassing carnival with nostalgic rides like Meteorite, Dog Ship and The Grand Carousel, the event makes for a convenient escapade if you’re looking for something fuss-free over the weekend. Ardent fans of Uncle Ringo’s signature carnival games will be pleased to know that stalls will be all around the event but with an added Christmas pizzazz.
Keen on dipping your toes in the world of digital art? Participate in an NFT exhibit or sign up for digital art workshops and community dialogues while enjoying live musical performances featuring local artistes. Round up the day by taking Insta-worthy family pictures with neon light installations or the majestic Christmas tree.

Star Island presents “Prequel to STAR Island” taking place at Marina Bay Event Plaza where families are in for a treat with a sneak peek of the actual countdown. The multi-sensory playground is filled with activities for everyone in the family to enjoy, from a Sanrio-themed bazaar to F&B pop-ups there is lots to explore.

Inspired by the illuminating colours of Avatar 2, Changi’s 3km light-up is filled with life-sized dinosaurs and an otherworldly glow. With approximately 1,100 levitating jellyfish beneath the T2 Skytrain decks and 4,000 dandelions on the trail, the trail can be experienced by foot or on a bicycle but do not be too alarmed when you spot dinosaurs all decked out in their adorable festive gear.
If you’re feeling peckish after the trail, head onto terminal 2 (opposite carpark 2A) for a quick bite. For the first time, a community of food trucks at the start of the Park Connector will be bringing you local fare, burgers and freshly-churned ice cream, so fuel up before you embark on this mystical journey.

The tiny tots love a good bouncy castle and at Funtasia they will have a hopping good time on 10 different types of giant inflatables. Aptly themed after the solar system, the little ones will have such a blast exploring the different planets, ball pits, biff bash bags and even a pirate cave. And that’s not all, the largest inflatable theme park in Singapore also has the tallest inflatable slide with a 30ft height that’s perfect for the older kids who prefer something a little more challenging.

National Library Board’s (NLB) popular bug-themed collectible card game, Book Bugs, have made a comeback to encourage children to take ownership of their own reading and learning journey.
Book Bugs: Rescuers of the Lost transports young readers to the world of Bugtopia and turns them into the story’s protagonists who have the power to determine the land’s future. As the narrative unfolds at every turn, the only way for young readers to save Bugtopia and its lost stories is to read as many books as possible from public libraries across Singapore.
NLB has specially curated an immersive world-building experience so that families can enjoy an exciting series of Book Bugs events starting with Community Day at the Jurong Regional Library on 16 Dec 2022

One man’s treasure is another’s trash, is the ethos that runs true in this ultra-secretive installation featuring the upcycling of materials such as discarded wooden pallets and old floorboards discarded in the construction process.
Titled Explorers of Sentosa, the hidden family of giants are part of an interactive experience that will take visitors around the Palawan area using an interactive digital map.

If your kids love Paw Patrol you probably know the theme song by heart, sing to the tune with the lovely characters at an exclusive meet and greet along the scenic waterfront of Sentosa Cove. Fans of the show will get a chance to meet Skye and Rubble and take memorable photos.
