Did you know that 81 percent of parents in Singapore feel anxious about creating meaningful childhood memories for their children? This was revealed in a recent survey* done by Feld Entertainment who brings in the popular Disney On Ice to Singapore.
The anxious feelings could largely be attributed to the struggles many working parents face today in Singapore – having to juggle the demands of career with family time, especially when both parents are in full-time jobs – and also not knowing how to connect with children in a relatable way.
The survey also finds that 63 per cent of parents today associate their most treasured childhood memory with quality family time, and contrastingly, just over one in five children experience weekly family outings.
So how can parents start countering these anxious feelings and start creating memorable experiences for their kids which both will treasure? One way is through shared experiences which both can relate to and enjoy.
Disney has created a wonderful magical world of fairy tales and timeless stories which has inspired and captured the imagination of both the young and old for generations, and The Wonderful World of Disney On Ice has brought this exciting world into reality for families all over the world since 2008 when the show started touring yearly.
