Whether your family prefers an afternoon at the theatre or a night-time adventure exploring a forest, there’s no shortage of interesting activities that will keep you and the little ones occupied in the coming week.
Your kids can bring home their own unique piece of vibrant and colourful Peranakan culture in this drop-in activity at Gardens by the Bay.
You’ll be given a set of postcards with Peranakan-inspired designs, and two coloured postcards for reference. Exercise your creativity using the colouring materials provided, and decorate your postcards any way you want.
Children aged 3 – 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Featuring a diverse cast of performers, Imagination Station is a theatrical production that teaches kids to find the courage to face changes head-on.

You and your kids can explore a mangrove boardwalk in the dark in this night adventure.
Spot mangrove inhabitants such as horseshoe crabs, mudskippers, and various water snakes – all from a safe distance, of course. Connect with nature, and use your senses to pick out these creatures of the night.
Don’t worry if you’ve never done anything like this before. The trail will start off with some basic rules as well as a briefing on how to actively participate and what you can hopefully find in the forest.
This activity is recommended for children and adults aged five and up.

If your child has been asking for a pet, a day at Pet’s Day Out will help them understand the responsibilities that come along with being a pet owner.
They’ll definitely be thrilled by the Doggie Detectives workshop, where they’ll get to take part in fun and interactive activities with dogs and their handlers. Through inquiry-based and hands-on learning, the workshop will foster respect, kindness, and responsibility towards animals.
Aside from that, there will also be a Petzmania Lite activity booth, where kids can take part in some pet-related arts and crafts and learn more about how to be a better pet owner.

Fancy going on a cruise?
One of the most advanced ships in the world, the Spectrum of the Seas has started sailing from Singapore again. The Spectrum was initially set to sail from October 2022 onwards, but this date has been brought forward to April.

Get fit as a family with this 2.1km charity virtual walkathon.
Cordlife’s “We Are Family” virtual walkathon is organized to raise funds for Metta School – which offers special education to children with Mild Intellectual Disability (MID) and some with Autism (ASD). All you’ll have to do is gather your family members together for a walk, and use a fitness app such as Runkeeper or Strava to track the 2.1km distance. The good thing is that So you can do your walk when it suits you and your family.

3It’s the final week to catch the spectacular Lego dinosaur displays at the Singapore Zoo and River Wonders!
More than 60 Brickosaurs structures can be found in the two parks, consisting of over 150 million Lego bricks. From a massive T-Rex to tiny raptors, the Lego brick structures are sure to wow the kids. Plus, they’ll get the chance to learn more about these curious prehistoric creatures that once roamed the Earth.
