There’s a new mega-bouncy castle event in town!
The ever-popular Jumptopia is back, and for the first time, it’s food-themed. Zip down the massive slides at Tiger’s Burger Joint, dive into Eli’s Noodle Bowl, or crawl through gigantic donuts and pretzels at Bell’s Patisserie.
The event will feature eight huge food-themed bouncy castles at the GastroBeats festival, where your kids can jump around to their hearts’ content. Join your kids if you’re up for it – otherwise, there’s a whole festival’s worth of good food and good music that you can check out while you wait.

World Oceans Day takes place on 8 June this year, and the S.E.A. Aquarium is having a whole month-long Ocean Fest to celebrate. The fun and educational line-up is great for teaching kids the importance of protecting our oceans.
Check out the ethereal art installation, OBNOVA, which will show you a glimpse of an ideal future with a restored and flourishing oceanscape, or take a look at the interactive table sculpture, Ayer Ayer Shore Table. There, you’ll be able to sift through a sandy Shore Table to collect microplastics, which you can then use to create colourful mosaic artworks.
There’ll also be various upcycling workshops where you can create pouches and lamps with everyday items like paper and plastic cartons. To make a difference, you can also join in the beach clean-up sessions.

Be wowed be the beautiful installations at the i Light festival, which will feature creative artworks from both professional and student artists.
Kids will love embarking on the specially constructed floating pontoon boat at the Lower Boardwalk at Marina Bay. There will also be a ticketed area – the Lightwave: Isle of Light – that features five special zones with immersive features. Be awed by enchanting holographic projections, illuminated motion-capture graphics and shadows, and light beams that will remind you of a mystical forest.

Let your kids try their hands at being an archaeologist for a day!
Work together with your kids to dig at small excavation sites, reconstruct broken fragments, make inferences, and uncover histories. Your kids will get to follow in the footsteps of professional archaeologists as they go through the steps of excavation, documentation, object identification, and presenting their findings to the audience. Inspired by actual archaeological sites in Singapore, you’ll also learn more about Singapore’s pre-colonial and colonial histories along the way.
This activity is suitable for kids aged eight to 12.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to juggle, spin plates, or be in a circus, now’s your chance to try it out.
Drop by the Esplanade Courtyard, where the folks from Bornfire Circus will demonstrate different circus skills and teach you the tricks of the trade. Have a go at plate spinning, diabolo, hooping, or juggling. And don’t worry if you’ve never done it before – no experience is required.

Take on the NERF Archerfish Accuracy Challenge to demonstrate the precision and stealth of the aquatic sharpshooters, or try out the My Little Pony Twilight Sparkle’s Yoga Challenge. Plus, climb through a Play-Doh themed obstacle course or let loose your creativity at the Play-Doh Jungle Gym. Did you know that some deep-sea creatures glow in the dark? It’s a phenomenon known as bioluminescence – which is what caused the glowing blue waves earlier this year, and also the reason fireflies glow. In this parent-child workshop, you’ll be able to discover how it works.
Through interactive activities and hands-on learning, you’ll learn all about the different creatures that live in deep oceans today, and find out why and how these animals glow.
