The June Holidays are well underway, and if you’re looking for something fun to do with your family, we’ve got a few recommendations.
For some winter fun without leaving the country, enjoy a Snoopy-themed snow-filled adventure at Changi Airport. Or, if you find yourself needing a break, some time at Sentosa’s Zentosa Fest might do the trick. Plus, a bunch of creative workshops to keep your kids occupied while school’s out.
You won’t have to travel halfway across the world to see snow this June holiday!
Enjoy a day of snow-filled fun at Changi Airport’s PEANUTS Snow Hangout. Luge down a two-storey slide, experience snowfall, and snap some pictures with snow sculptures of Snoopy and Charlie Brown.
Snoopy fans will also be delighted by the multiple photo-ops around the terminal, and the adorable (and exclusive!) PEANUTS merchandise to be collected.
Happening on 27 May – 11 July 2022, at Changi Airport Terminal 3. Entry to the PEANUTS Snow Hangout is priced at $18, but you’ll be able to purchase the pass for a discounted price of $5 with every $30 spent in a single receipt. Find out more here.
Eight inflatable hot-air balloon installations have landed in Gardens by the Bay for this year’s Children’s Festival.
Themed Around the World with Kiztopia, the eight massive inflatable installations feature Kiztopia Friends characters all hailing from different countries. The hot-air balloons also bear iconic international landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and Mount Fuji.
Apart from the inflatable installations, there will also be two ticketed interactive zones for the entire family to enjoy. At Happy’s Craft World, you can take part in various craft activities, including clay art painting and scratch painting. Meanwhile, Tiger’s Sports Arena features five inflatables of sports and carnival games such as basketball and ring toss.
Happening on 28 May – 19 June 2022, at Gardens by the Bay’s Supertree Grove. Admission to the main festival is free. Tickets for the interactive zones are priced at $8 per person for one craft activity at Happy’s Craft World, and $18 per person to enter Tiger’s Sports Arena. There’s also a bundle deal of $22 per person for one craft activity and access to Tiger’s Sports Arena. Find out more and purchase your tickets here.
Candlescapes’ creations are elegantly and beautifully crafted. And the best part: their candles are also eco-friendly, renewable, sustainable, and carbon-neutral. The fragrances used are also phthalate-free, so you can be sure that nothing is harmful when you light the candles.
In this workshop, kids will learn to make their own fun little cactus candle. Let your little ones exercise their creativity as they pick their own colours and designs. The process won’t involve any melting wax, so they can do everything themselves safely, and you won’t have to worry about accidents occurring.
Happening every Friday to Sunday, at various timings between 2pm to 6pm. Priced at $25, the workshop will take place at 70 Eu Tong Sen Street, YueHwa Chinatown, Singapore 059805. Find out more and register here.
This June, Sentosa will be transformed into a wellness island retreat boasting a ton of activities for you and the family to rest, eat, and play together.
Enjoy a wide, wide, range of family-friendly activities, including kite designing, shrink art, clay, paper puppet making, and mural painting. Alternatively, drop your kids off at one of the workshops, and check out some of the unique fitness activities yourself. Have a go at aquabiking in the sea, or try your hand at yoga while balancing atop a FloatFit board.
Plus, spice up your family beach day with a glamping experience by the beach, where you’ll get to stay in a tent fully kitted out with two queen-sized beds and air coolers. And you won’t have to worry about food options while you’re there, because the tuckshop offers some incredible dishes that are both delicious and healthy.
Happening on 3 – 30 June 2022, at various locations around Sentosa. There are both free and paid activities available – most activities are priced at $5. Find out more and purchase your tickets here.
Visit the ArtScience Museum over the weekend and you’ll find a drop-in activity where you can decorate your very own postcards.
Tap into your creativity and express yourself on a blank postcard, whether it’s through scribbling, colouring, or freestyle drawing. You can even include a message to someone you know, or pen down your thoughts for a stranger to read. At the end of the activity, you can choose to either bring your postcard home, or display your card proudly for all the visitors to see.
Happening on 11 – 12 June 2022, 11am – 6pm. Admission is free, but requires prior booking. Located at the ArtScience Museum, 6 Bayfront Ave, Singapore 018974. Find out more and register here.
Visit the various parks in Singapore for a relaxing day out with the family, and take some time to admire the interactive art installations that have been put up.

Dreamy and nostalgic, these artworks stem from reflections brought about by the pandemic, and reflect the artists’ responses to hope, recovery, and transformation.
