With the Year of the Tiger right around the corner, Universal Studios Singapore is debuting Tigress from Kung Fu Panda for the first time in Singapore. The theme park will be filled with rows upon rows of cherry blossoms, gold ingots, and more to help you and the family settle right into the festive spirit.
Not only that, if your little ones are fans of Shrek and Fiona, the Minions, and Poppy and Branch from Trolls, then you are in luck. Prepare your phones to take pictures of your kids with them in festive red outfits.
Fans of Transformers are also in for a treat. Give Optimus Prime and Megatron your well-wishes in person and get ready for them to reply to you in Mandarin.
And of course, the park will serve a spread of festive food throughout the area, including tiger-themed burgers.

A piece of paper’s purpose isn’t over once there’s no more space to fill with ink. This exhibition, which has been at nine stops previously and ends with this stop at Geylang Library, showcases how calligraphy artist Malik Mazlan and haiku poet Dave Tai breathe life into wastepaper.
You and the kids will learn about how they can be creatively recycled to produce new artworks from the pieces shown, and the little ones will come to understand more about how to stretch the lifespan of an object.

S.E.A Aquarium is also going to be filled with Chinese New Year cheer for you and the kids to experience. Little ones will be able to meet and greet the Manta mascot trio that will be dressed in their costumes that are made of upcycled and pre-loved materials.
There will also be photo opportunities with the Sand Tiger Shark Wall Mural that will feature the sand tiger shark, the attraction’s animal of the year.
Fortune seekers have not been forgotten. Take a walk down the Trail of Fortune that will have bright red lanterns, festive patterns, and magical fairy lights put up. Guests are encouraged to keep their eyes peeled for auspicious fish such as the aforementioned sand tiger shark, red lionfish, weedy seadragon, tiger cowrie, and alligator gar. You and your children can also learn more about what exactly makes these marine lives so lucky.

The popular Garden by the Bay exhibition Dahlia Dreams is back! A stunning River Hongbao lantern takes centre stage of the flower field with three moon gates, a pair of rabbits, and larger-than-life narcissus blooms. The best part? All of this is surrounded by 2,000 blooms that will take your breathy away and delight the kids.
Bring your kids on a mini adventure hunt to find the tiger cubs and other auspicious decorations inside the dome such as giant coin pouches (okay, maybe these aren’t so hard to miss) and couplets that represent good luck and prosperity.

Championship winner Ryan Tan will be there to defend his crown while up-and-coming pilots try to steal it from under him. This epic event is the start of the international race calendar so it’s not one that you would want to miss! For art fanatics, Art Week 2022 is the time to experience all that local artists have to offer. SAW in 10 Days has curated a 10-day itinerary that aims to cover a variety of these exhibitions as a group. With 20 sessions to choose from and all focusing on different artworks and artists, you and the kids can look through their schedule to see which day you would like to hop onto the private chartered bus for a day (or half-day) out.
You and the children will also be able to engage in conversations with the guides and the rest of the group, which is great of your little ones are chatterboxes who love to share and listen to others.

Have kids in their teens that you want to take on a day out? We haven’t forgotten about you! We propose a multi-sensory theatrical heritage trail that follows the story of two lovers in Singapore during the 1960s. You and the kids will have the chance to look at Jalan Besar through the eyes of the two characters with this self-guided audio tour.
You will be taken to hidden back alleys and fantasy rooms with dystopian theatrical sets and installations that will make you feel like you stepped back in time. The story is full of history, tragedy, and love, and is great for older kids who are coming to understand the world around us or are interested in learning about the past.

For parents with kids aged four to six, this workshop is a great way to teach them about staying active in an interesting way (say no to boring talks!). First, you and the children can listen in as storytellers bring your family on an exciting journey with tales relating to active health.
Afterwards, you will head to the active play mat where you and the little ones will be taught how to use it in an engaging and interactive way for some active fun.

Fungus Humongous is a magical forest playground filled with draping branches, large fungi art, and sensory areas for children of all abilities. Suitable for kids of all ages and parents (you!) who are young at heart, it’s as close to a fairytale forest as one can get!
