This digital art workshop brings together art and technology for a day of interactive learning and immersive play.
Kids will venture into the exciting world of technology as they are introduced to basic concepts of programming and coding – skills that grow increasingly important and relevant in today’s world. At Gardens by the Bay’s first-ever hydrangea floral display, you can expect over 20 varieties of hydrangeas. In partnership with the Netherlands Embassy, the new display will also feature traditional landscapes complete with windmills, canals, townhouses, and a lighthouse inspired by the iconic red-and-white West Schouwen Lighthouse. Be charmed by how the whimsical blooms colour the idyllic countryside in this floral display perfect for the summer.
For the first time, you can also look forward to seeing paintings by artists with special needs from TOUCH Centre of Independent Living displayed amidst the floral display. Making slime was a popular activity among kids a couple of years ago, but did you know that slime is actually formed using a chemical reaction?
In this workshop, budding young scientists will learn to create slime using simple items that can be found around the home. By combining the right materials, they will witness a chemical reaction that turns these items into slime. Not only is it a fun activity where they can get their hands dirty, it’s also a simple and effective way to introduce them to the basics of chemistry – and how different elements come together to form chemical reactions.
This programme is for children aged four to six.

Perfect for animal-lovers and art-lovers both, this cafe in Singapore doubles as both a cat cafe and an art jamming space.
Their semi-guided art jam with cats is a 2.5-hour session that includes all art materials, as well as a feeding session with the cats. Unleash your creativity as you create your very own piece of art on a canvas, tote bag, wooden board, or peg dolls – all the while enjoying the company of adorable furry friends.
Alternatively, you can just opt for entry to the cafe, where you can chill with the cats free-and-easy, or bring your art materials to paint.

The LEGO Brick exhibition features more than 50 jaw-dropping masterpieces of the world’s most iconic landmarks, so you can travel the world without stepping foot out of Singapore. Marvel at the sculpture of the Flying Scotsman, which took a grand total of 164,111 LEGO bricks to build, or admire Canada’s CN Tower, which stands at a height of 3.6 metres.
