11 Holiday Programmes That Will Keep Your Kids Entertained In December

Keep the little ones busy while you relax

by Terri Kue  /   December 1, 2021

The school holidays are here, which means that the kids will be home all the time. The catch? Having them home 24/7 can be disruptive to our work lives, and you probably never stop having to be a parent and have time to yourself.

However, holiday camps and programmes are a great way to not only get your little ones out of your hair (even for a few hours), but also to entertain them and enrich their lives. With the pandemic still here, letting your children have fun is important to let them experience growing up in a COVID-free world.

Whether your kids are fans of cooking, art, or sports, these 11 holiday programmes cover all the bases.

Do your kids love all things colourful and shiny? If so, this one and a half hours holiday programme for seven to twelve-year-olds might be to their fancy. Through touching, seeing, and feeling, your children will enjoy a sensory experience to discover different types of gems and rocks around the world. They will learn about how gems are formed, where to find these precious stones through interactive activity, and will get hands-on experience with using tools for mining.

Adding on to that, they will be able to look at gems through a microscope, which we think is mega cool.

Better yet, they will get to bring a gemstone from the “Gem Mine” home as a little souvenir!

The next available dates are 3 December 2021 and 17 December 2021. Each session is priced at $40.88 per pax. Find out more and book your slots here.

And of course, at the end of both camps, they will be able to take their creations home.

The course is suitable for seven to 14-years-olds, and they will be grouped by their ages on the day itself.
