Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra’s wedding festivities have come full circle!
The couple tied the knot in a Christian wedding officiated by the ‘Jealous’ hitmaker’s father, Kevin Jonas Sr. In keeping with custom, Nick arrived to the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur – the same venue they had held their Western wedding – on horseback and wore a traditional outfit and turban, while Priyanka donned a red Sabyasachi sari.
A source said: “Priyanka looked breathtaking in her traditional red Indian wedding dress.” See the stunning photos below for proof:

Everybody was holding their breath to see Priyanka’s two outfits for the Christian and Hindu ceremonies, and now we finally have them. Let’s just say that this was worth the wait! Priyanka wore a Ralph Lauren design, a cute nod to the designer who accidentally brought them together, and it apparently had over TWO MILLION pearl sequins.

After the Christian ceremony on the Saturday, Priyanka looked stunning in a red lehenga for the Sunday. In complimenting captions, Nick wrote under both the pictures “happiest day of my life” while Priyanka said “and forever starts now”.

The couple sold their wedding photos to People magazine for a whopping $2 million US dollars. “Every girl dreams of being a princess on her wedding day,” Priyanka says in their cover story. “But I never had a plan about what I wanted it to be.” It was Nick who then suggested they dream big and opt for not one, but two ceremonies in India to celebrate their different backgrounds. “It melted my heart,” adds the Quantico actress. “Being able to have two big weddings, in India, with our closest family and friends was unbelievably special.”

Ahead of that, the pair held a Sangeet as part of their pre-wedding celebrations. “It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always. as a huge celebration of love. Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening). Another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together,” Priyanka wrote in an Instagram post, sharing pictures and videos from the sangeet.
“And what a performance it was,” she continued. “Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends.. *grateful.”
The theme of the sangeet ceremony was ‘boys vs girls’. The ceremony saw Priyanka perform with her mother, Madhu Chopra, on the song Ram Chahe Leela from the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela – Ram Leela. The song Gallan Goodiyan from Priyanka’s film Dil Dhadakne Do was also a big hit.
Priyanka’s cousin Parineeti Chopra also took to the stage for a performance, while both the bride and the groom’s mothers delivered speeches. Meanwhile, Nick wrote: “Priyanka and I have been looking forward to the Sangeet to see what each side of the family had put together. “We’re both so full of gratitude for the effort and love put forth by both families. What an amazing start to a lifetime!!”
Prior to Sunday’s ceremony, both families took part in a cricket match against one another. The couple have shared photos from their celebrations on social media throughout the weekend and admitted they were delighted to have been able to feature both their cultures and traditions.
Their traditional first dance during Sunday’s wedding was reportedly Roberta Flack’s The First Time I Saw Your Face, following which they left the venue in a classic red car, owned by the hotel. A fireworks display was organised, followed by a multi-cuisine dinner.
Nick and Priyanka will fly out of Jodhpur on Monday, for Delhi, where they will host a wedding reception on December 4. Another reception for their industry friends is being planned for a later date.
The couple wed at Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. The extravagant building was once the home of Maharaja Gaj Singh II, and has since been converted into a luxury resort. Find out more about it in our previous post here.
Earlier last week, Priyanka and Nick celebrated their first moments of marriage by offering a glimpse at one of their fabulous pre-wedding events.
“One of the most special things our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures,” the couple both wrote in an Instagram post.
“And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi.”
The joyful event was clearly coed. Priyanka wore a bright, voluminous frock by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for the event, and clearly couldn’t stop smiling. Both she and her new husband, who wore a kurta by the same designer, are seen getting henna tattoos on their hands.
Nick’s older brother Joe’s fiancée Sophie Turner can be seen wearing a black cropped dress in one of the additional images, clearly having a great time herself.
The couple tied the knot Saturday in Christian wedding ceremony officiated by the groom’s father at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
The couple wore custom Ralph Lauren designs for the Western ceremony, where they also exchanged wedding bands by famed jeweler Chopard. On Sunday, the bride and groom will continue their epic wedding weekend with a Hindu ceremony to honour Priyanka’s background.
Nick and Priyanka have been in whirlwind wedding planning mode since he popped the question in July. In addition to the bride and groom’s parents — Nick’s parents Paul Kevin Sr. and Denise Jonas and Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra — the wedding drew a number of famous guests.
