Tips To Make Fresh Flowers Last Longer
Farm Florist offers one of the most affordable bouquets on the list. While its Valentine’s Day offerings start from $55, its Felicity bouquet is priced at $25 for a petite mix of carnations and roses – and delivery is free! It’s also got the Surprise Bouquet with prices starting at just $25 for a one-stalk bouquet.
For something a little lusher, there are other bouquets like the Fondness bouquet at $32 with cheery Gebera daisies, or the Surprise Bloom Box from $29. Although you cannot customise it, there is a series of dropdown menus on the order page. You can fill it up and the florists will do their best to curate the blooms according to your indicated preferences.
Farm Florist also offers a full refund for all late deliveries, which is nice.
Do note that there is a separate website for its Valentine’s Day collection, for deliveries from Feb 7 to 16, 2021.
Happy Bunch’s Petite Collection for Valentine’s Day starts at an affordable $25, including island-wide delivery, with blooms like roses, hydrangeas, sunflowers, and Mokara orchids.
It also offers same-day delivery if you order before a specific time ahead of its two delivery time slots (check time slots here).
Or you can go for the Signature bunch (from $40), which features seasonal flowers, which is why they’re cheaper. They go on a daily arrangement basis, so you can’t choose your flowers. WeI wouldn’t worry though – their flowers look good every day. We especially like that their bouquets are wrapped in a nice woven fabric.
Note: Due to limited manpower, only products from the Petite Luxe, Preserved Flower Box, Build A Box and Ready-To-Order Gift Box will be delivered from Feb 13 to 15, 2021.
Floristique has the cutest floral arrangements that come in a box with handles ($30) and your choice of floral designs are endless, with everything from roses to cheery Gerbera daisies or a wintry arrangement like the Natala (above). There are also small sunflower posies at $35.
For glamorous rose bouquets from its Valentine’s Day line-up, prices are mid-ranged, starting from $55. Delivery is free but charges apply for specific timings. Order before 2pm and you’ll also be able to get free same-day delivery.
The Enchanted Tree’s Surprise Pick bouquet is one of the most affordable options for cheap flower deliveries in Singapore. For $30, you get a surprise arrangement of blooms and free delivery. Or make it twice as nice with the Double Surprise Pick for $50. The catch is that it’s only available on weekdays.
Its Daily Pick bouquet was also previously only $30, but unfortunately, it’s since upped the prices and is now at $50, which is right on the edge of our budget.
The flowers and arrangements change every day and typically include popular flowers like roses, hydrangea, and sunflowers.
Far East Flora is a household name, and we expected their prices to be steep (the nursery is huge!) but they’re actually quite affordable.
A basic Petite Bouquet costs $29.90 ($31.99 after taxes). With the smaller accompanying flowers, the bouquet looks presentable, but do note that these bouquets typically only include one or two stalks of the main bloom.
Far East Flora is a huge flower shop, so it has an impressive range of flower products for different occasions. Most of the other under-$50 bouquets feature sunflowers and gerberas, which are relatively inexpensive when compared to the classic rose.
Note: There will be Valentine’s Day price surcharge on deliveries going out between Feb 9 to 16 February and a delivery fee surcharge for deliveries going out on Feb 14 and 14.
Windflower Florist‘s most affordable bunch is the $33 Baby’s Breath bouquet. If you’re into dried flowers, you can also get a lavender or cotton bouquet for the same price.
If you want something fancier, there’s the seven-rose A Study bouquet at $46.90. The same bouquet comes in seven colours, with the roses dyed to your colour of preference. Plus, it offers free island-wide delivery, too.
The Bloom Box is perhaps our favourite of the lot because the “bouquet” is actually a chic carry-around box. It costs just $35 (delivery included), looks good on your office table or bedroom dresser, and is easy to bring home – we imagine carrying a bouquet of flowers would attract some stares on the train. Or go for double the flowers in a bigger box for $60.
There’s a special Valentine’s Day box available for pre-order, with three lush Kenyan roses, and other fillers like gold ginger flowers, wax flowers, caspias, fatsias, and ruscus, for delivery between Feb 12 to 15. An additional $25 gets you an extra 15-inch balloon.
Green Acres is a full florist service, selling not just bouquets but flower stands, wreaths, and gift baskets too.
For $38, you can get Candy Cone, a baby’s breath posy in an adorable ice-cream cone-inspired holder, or the One Love bouquet, which includes a single rose and baby’s breath flowers.
There are quite a few bouquet options under $50, including the Sweet Romance bouquet (lavender) at $42, and Pastel Lovin at $48, with pink carnations, baby’s breath, sweet Williams and eustomas.
If you’re into the flower box look, you can consider the Lily Floral Tote as well ($45).
Petite Fleur is another florist that sells mini bouquets – its Micro Bouquet creations start at $27 (baby’s breath and cotton bouquet). For a surprise that will literally last forever, get the Cotton and Lavender micro bouquet ($28). The fluffy cotton blooms hail all the way from Israel.
However, most of its full-sized bouquets mostly cost upwards of $79, like the three-rose “I Love You” bunch.
If you like a bit of spontaneous fun – isn’t that what surprises are about anyway? – try the Freestyle Bouquet by Floral Garage ($42.90 to $64.90). You don’t get to choose the exact flowers and arrangements, but instead, you fill up a form so the florists can customise a bespoke bouquet for your recipient!
You can choose from traditional, modern, and rustic styles, and indicate what colours to avoid. You can also fill in the recipient’s age and what occasion the flowers are for.
Or you can go for the Remy ($49) with pastel roses and lavender sprigs, or Juliana ($42.90) with mini roses and eucalyptus leaves.
Standard delivery is free, and you can choose your preferred date and time slot. If you need it delivered at a specific time — so not within a 2-hour period — then it’s $25 per trip.
If you’re after affordable posies, head to Floral Passion’s ‘Under $50’ section on its website, where you can get some pretty blooms from $10! A single-stalk sunflower bouquet is at $10, while a small bouquet of gerbera daisies cost $20. The Everlast bouquet with three preserved red roses, baby’s breath and caspia will set you back by $45.
But if you’re willing to fork out a few more dollars, you can get a fuller bouquet of hydrangeas, or a mix of preserved blooms and lavender for $55.
You can also write in for flower subscriptions (weekly, fortnightly or monthly). Delivery might be a tad pricey but you can also head to Kembangan MRT for self-collection.
You can get a number of bouquets from $39.90 from Flower Chimp, like the Hot Romance (roses and statice), Pink A Boo (roses and gerberas) and Golden Sunset (Mokara orchids). It also offers free delivery islandwide with no minimum spend. Plus, if you order your bouquet before 2 pm, you can get it the same day.
Its Valentine’s Day collection starts from $79.90.
