It’s no wonder Prince Harry is reportedly “besotted” with her! The 32-year-old royal is believed to have met the 35-year-old brunette bombshell in Canada while promoting his Invictus Games for disabled servicemen. Although Meghan was born in Los Angeles, she is settled in Toronto because Suits is filmed there.
Meghan grew up on the set of US sitcom Married…with Children. In 2002, she started her own TV career in General Hospital. Before she landed the role on Suits, she appeared in several films, including Horrible Bosses and Remember Me.
The beauty married her long-term boyfriend, film producer Trevor Engelson, in a show-stopping ceremony in Jamaica circa 2011, but the couple split in 2014. It isn’t clear if the pair are divorced or separated. She has also been linked to golfer Rory McIlroy in recent years.

Meghan is known for her humanitarian work and she became a global ambassador for World Vision Canada earlier this year. She has also travelled to Rwanda in Africa to help with a clean water project. You know who else was in Africa recently? Prince Harry!
Meghan has spoken about her laid-back attitude towards fashion before saying “When I get ready to go out, it’s half an hour and we’re out of the door. I don’t want to waste time getting ready, I want to have fun. At work I get so dolled up that it’s nice to wear jeans and a sweater.”
Meghan is a major foodie, and the actress enjoys indulging in her favorite dishes when she’s off-duty. “French fries and vino are my vices,” she told Delish magazine, “I’m always hoping I’m having lunch with people, so we can share fries. It’s its own food group for me.”

It’s called The TIG and on it, Meghan shares beauty and fashion tips, recipes, reading lists, travel guides and interviews with influencers including Serena Williams, Jessica Stam, and Kayla Itsines amongst many others.
Aside from her role as World Vision ambassador, Meghan is also a United Nations Women advocate. “Women make up more than half of the world’s population and potential, so it is neither just nor practical for their voices, for our voices, to go unheard at the highest levels of decision-making,” she said during a speech on International Women’s Day in 2015.
Before she became a full-time actress, Meghan worked as a model in between acting jobs and says she also supported herself as a freelance calligrapher. She describes herself on her Instagram bio as a “lover of handwritten notes.” Maybe that’s how Prince Harry captured her heart? Sweet!

Meghan’s mother is African American while her father is Caucasian. As an actress, she found auditions to be difficult because casting directors were often looking for women of a specific ethnicity. However, she calls her Suits role the “goldie locks role” because there wasn’t a specific ethnicity tied to the character Rachel.
