Hollywood’s biggest stars have converged once again to celebrate the best in film and entertainment at the 91st Academy Awards. And some might say that the red carpet event before the main show is almost as good as the awards ceremony itself! From all the dazzling red carpet outfits to surprise guests (*cough* Marie Kondo *cough*), the red carpet is also great for couple-spotting.
Here’s a look at all the adorable celebrity couples who walked the red carpet at this year’s Oscars:

It’s all smiles for this glitzy duo, who are attending the Oscars for the first time as a couple – and both dressed in Tom Ford, no less! JLo has been a presenter at the Awards for many years, and this year is no exception.
The couple are notoriously private about their relationship, but they’re often seen loving it up for the cameras on red carpets. This year, Irina’s support is more important than ever as the A Star Is Born actor is up for three nominations including Best Actor, Best Picture and Best Screenplay. He also performed a moving rendition of “Shallow” with fellow actress-nominee Lady Gaga, which won Best Original Song.
The comedic pair, who have been married for over 13 years, are still completely infatuated with each other as they stepped out onto the red carpet side-by-side. Melissa is nominated for Best Actress in her role in Can You Ever Forgive Me?, and also presented the Oscar for Best Costume Design.
The couple posted this adorable snapshot of themselves enroute to the Oscars:
The Aquaman star and his beautiful actress wife Lisa rolled up to the Dolby Theater in fabulously matching blush pink looks. Both outfits were custom-designed by the late Karl Lagerfeld. Eagle-eyed viewers also noticed that Jason wore a matching blush-hued hairtie around his wrist!
The Vice actress and her husband shared a sweet PDA moment on the red carpet. Amy is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for playing Lynn Cheney in Vice, which is also up for Best Picture this year.
Surprise! The Japanese decluttering expert and star of Netflix’s hit reality series Tidying Up With Marie Kondo made a surprise appearance at the Academy Awards this year. She was accompanied by her loving husband Takumi, who is also the CEO of KonMari Media Inc.
The Best Actor winner showed up on the red carpet with his date and Bohemian Rhapsody co-star Lucy. The couple, who reportedly started dating in April 2018, are relatively private so it was sweet to see them walk the red carpet together. He gave her passionate kiss just before going on-stage to claim the award, as well as thanked her in his speech, calling her “the heart of this film”.
The Vice actor and Oscar nominee for Best Actor arrived on the red carpet with his wife of almost 20 years, Sibi Blazic, who’s a former model.
The morning talk show host and the Riverdale actor spent date night at the Oscars looking every bit the power couple. They weren’t afraid of a bit of PDA as well, sharing a smooch as the camera snapped away. They even called the Oscars ceremony “prom night”. Aww!
A year after winning Best Director for his hit thriller Get Out, Jordan Peele arrived at the 91st Academy Awards together with his leading lady, Chelsea Perretti of Brooklyn Nine Nine fame. The pair absolutely complemented each other in black-and-white ensembles, and Jordan kept a loving hand around Chelsea’s waist.
Another couple who wore outfits from the same designer, the Vice actor and his partner of 12 years, fellow actress Leslie, wore custom Armani to the Oscars this year.
Alright, so they’re not a romantic couple, but we had to give the Black Panther star for bringing a very special guest to the Academy Awards with him — his mother. He shared a snapshot of him and his mum just before the ceremony, saying: “My mama about to make me have to fight somebody she looking so pretty.” What a sweetheart!
