The Avengers star surprised everyone this week when he appeared in a Centrum vitamin commercial aired in China and delivered one line in Mandarin. Netizens in China were quick to point out that his pronunciation was close to perfect and were very impressed but Western audiences said the ad was creepy. We personally loved every second!

The Bird Box actress is super talented. Not only is she a fantastic thespian she also speaks several languages. She showed off her language skills as an awards presenter at the Oscars a few years ago by telling us she would announce her category in Mandarin but it turned out to be a little joke because we’re pretty sure Mandarin doesn’t sound like that!

The Descendants of the Sun actor revealed that Mandarin was a language that was familiar to him because his older brother had studied in Beijing for 8 years. Not to be outdone by his sibling, Joong Ki also picked up the language saying he was influenced by his bro.

The WWE wrestler and sometimes actor proved that he is a man of many talents when he recorded himself speaking Mandarin and professing his love for a certain brand of chili oil on social media. The 41-year-old started learning Mandarin when WWE was looking to break into the Chinese market several years ago.

TBH we weren’t that surprised when we found out that the Facebook founder could speak Mandarin. After all, his wife is American-Chinese and surely she encouraged him to pick up the language but we were still pretty impressed actually hearing him converse in Mandarin. LIKE!
