Coming to Singapore in 2020: An indoor playground with PinkFong’s Baby Shark as its theme!
SmartStudy, the South Korean company behind Pinkfong, is preparing to open a playground in Seoul – and Singapore will have its first branch in Southeast Asia.
Ryan Lee, co-founder and chief financial officer of edutainment company SmartStudy, reveals this when he was in Singapore recently.
“The weather is hot and humid here, so I think there is an opportunity to do a kids’ indoor playground, one that is Pinkfong or Baby Shark-themed,” he said in an interview with The Straits Times.

The dizzying popularity of the two-minute-long Baby Shark song and video – first released in 2016 and then went on to break the Internet – shows no signs of abating. With 2.9 billion streams and counting, it is the ninth most-viewed video on YouTube.
While details about Pinkfong’s Baby Shark indoor playground in Singapore have not been finalised, the brand’s co-founder hopes it will open next year.
