As a new parent, I have come to realise that travelling with kids is a whole new ballgame. Besides having to bring so much more than ever before (diapers…so many diapers), the types of lodging parents look at can be quite different depending on the age of their children. Some are known to eschew typical hotel rooms in favour of AirBnBs and service apartments, others might opt for hotel suites where you can dump the kids in the bedroom area and then enjoy some quiet time outside.
There’s lots of options and configurations to consider (with price being a consideration too) when travelling with kids. “With 54% of travellers looking to keep multi-generational trips a top priority this year, based on Booking.com’s Travel Predictions 2023, we’re seeing more families leverage travel trips as a means of facilitating ‘family reunions’ and get-togethers” says Laura Houldsworth, Managing Director Asia Pacific, Booking.com. With that in mind, we got Booking.com to round up some affordable, family-friendly hotels that you can consider for your next holiday. Psst — all these properties are available for Booking.com’s Genius discount, sign up to recieve 10% off or more.
