It’s been a hard few years for travel buffs. Even with the new Germany and Brunei VTL, travelling is unlikely to be the same as it was before. While this means we’ve spent an inordinate amount of time exploring and discovering more of Singapore, many of us still yearn to get away for just a little bit.
This is made possible at the moment by cruises to nowhere, which started end of last year and have been going strong since. Two operators, Genting Cruise Line’s Dream Cruises and Royal Carribean International offer cruises from Singapore designed to limit or prevent cross-border COVID-19 transmission, by not making any stops at any foreign ports, and requiring passengers to take swab tests before boarding.
