
Caramel Slice
Prep & Cook 45 mins / Makes 24
1 cup flour ♥ 1/2 cup brown sugar ♥ 1/2 cup desiccated coconut ♥ 125 g butter, melted ♥ 395 g condensed milk ♥ 60 g butter ♥ 2 tbsps maple syrup ♥ 100 g dark chocolate ♥ 2 tsps vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 18O C. Grease and line 18 x 28 cm pan.
In a bowl, combine 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup each brown sugar and desiccated coconut Stir in 125 g melted butter.
Press mixture Into pan. Bake 20 mins until golden. Cool.
Stir 395 g condensed milk, 60 g butter and 2 tbsps maple syrup in a saucepan on low heat until smooth. Pour over base. Bake 20 mins until golden. Cool.
Melt 100 g dark chocolate with 2 tsps vegetable oil until smooth. Pour over caramel and chill to set.
Slice and serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
