Always wanted to be a wonder woman but don’t know how? We’ve got all the details on how you can transform into a real-life superhero from the actress who’s taking on the iconic role of Diana Prince herself in the new ‘Wonder Woman’ movie out in 2017. That’s right, Gal Gadot isn’t just a pretty face! She’s just as fierce as her onscreen counterpart and here are her tips on how to face your everyday battles DC Universe-style:
If you can’t set the bar, change the game. That’s what Gal did when she took on the role of Diana Prince and boy, what a game-changer she is. Gal is the first non-American to take on the role of Wonder Woman and while the pressure’s on for her to perform, we’re sure she’ll live up to the standard.
Gal put on almost 8 whopping kilograms to get into shape as her character in the DC Universe. While we’re not suggesting you do the same, staying fit and keeping in shape is a good way to jump start your takeover of the world.
Gal likes a little danger (she did her own stunts in the Fast & Furious movies!) and that’s a good trait to have in real life too. Take risks whether at the workplace or when making big life decisions. You never know what path it’ll take you down and you may be all the happier for it!
Gal isn’t just extremely driven when it comes to her career, her rock solid work ethic comes into play in her regular life too. Not only is she an actress, a mother and a trained Israeli defence fighter, the leggy beauty also owns a 5-star hotel with her husband, Yaron Varsano.
Gal was reportedly up for the part of one of James Bond’s lovers in “Quantum of Solace” but she lost out to Olga Kurylenko instead. She didn’t let the setback bring her down though, she got back on her feet to audition for the Fast & Furious movies and that became her breakout performance in Hollywood.
There was plenty of controversy when Gal was cast as Wonder Woman back in 2013 with many fans calling her too skinny to take on the role. Gal took the criticism in her stride and gracefully brushed off her nay-sayers saying “Wonder Woman is Amazonian, and historically accurate Amazonian women actually had only one breast. So, if I’d really go ‘by the book’…it’d be problematic.”
The gorgeous actress plays a badass on screen but in real life, she’s actually a barrel of laughs. Take for example this silly Snapchat of hers using the Wonder Woman crown lens. “Now you can all be people of wonder!” she posted. The point here is not to take life so seriously, it’s ok to lighten up once in a while.
Gal is a doting mother to her adorable 4-year-old daughter Alma and hopes that her portrayal of Wonder Woman can inspire other young girls to believe in themselves. She is also a strong advocate of having more female role models saying, “It is so important for girls and boys to have a female, strong, superhero to look up to.”
Make like Gal and inject some good karma back into your life. The 29-year old actress is a great believer in the power of positive thinking, captioning this Instagram photo with the mantra “Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it”.
