Celebrating women and their indomitable spirit has always been in the DNA of The Singapore Women’s Weekly, and this was evident at the Great Women Of Our Time Awards 2017, last night.
Held at the glamorous VLV club in Clark Quay, the awards presentation and cocktail party brought women together to celebrate women. Eighteen women from six fields, Arts & Media, Design & Style, Health, Sports & Wellness, Finance & Commerce, Education & Public Service, and Science & Technology, were honoured. And as part of the The Weekly’s 20th Anniversary, two additional honorary awards were given out. Click here for the winners.
Guest-of-Honour Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Manpower and Home Affairs, graced the event and joined The Weekly in paying homage to this year’s nominees and their contributions to Singapore.
And at an event that pays tribute to women, it’s only natural to have some gorgeous guests. And here they are as they arrive at our venue…
