We’re not sure if this is something Kate makes a mental note to do but, instead of placing her hand by the side, Kate tends to angle her hands slightly so that her silhouette looks slimmer. 

By doing something with her hands, Kate also ensures that her photos aren’t awkward.

Besides doing something with her hands, Kate tends to turn sideways when posing to show off her outfits and how it flows. It’s also more slimming! 

Not only does it look less awkward (as compared to looking straight into the camera), when paired with a big smile the way Kate does, it looks slightly flirtatious and more welcoming. 

Another thing Kate tends to do is tilt her head slightly. Once again, it looks less awkward and a lot friendlier in photos.
