Domestic Diva Awards is The Singapore Women’s Weekly’s annual highlight of innovative products that help us live, work and eat better. This year, over 250 products across 69 household categories, ranging from cleaning and cooking appliances to healthy meal subscriptions were nominated. The winners were decided through public voting in an online survey in partnership with Milieu Insight, and Editor’s Pick, recognising the best in their fields.
Eating healthy, for most of us, is often associated with tedium. It conjures up images of spending Sunday afternoons meal prepping, eating the same chicken breast and broccoli dish for five days in a row, or queuing for cai png and eating a bland meal while your colleagues enjoy other hawker fare.
Luckily, it doesn’t have to be like that any longer, thanks to the proliferation of healthy meal delivery services that have popped up in recent years. These services take away the hassle of having to research, plan, and prep, giving you the nutrition you need for your health goals without the headache. They’re perfect for fitness buffs, health-conscious families, or even just busy professionals who want to eat right.

In this year’s Domestic Diva Awards 2022, we asked nearly three thousand readers to vote for their favourite healthy meal delivery services. Here’s the winner and the runners-up.
By far the most popular according to readers’ votes, Grain is the healthy meal delivery of choice for those who love tasty and wholesome food. Their signature service, Meals on Demand, starts from $14 per meal and features a combination of both local and international dishes like Assam Pedas Fish and Grilled Farm Fresh Chicken. Under each meal option, you’ll find a list of their ingredients and nutritional description. They’re also pioneering a beta service called Meal Plan, where you can select meals three days in advance and have them delivered to you between 9.30am and 1.30pm daily. Just heat them up and you’re good to go.
Nutrition Kitchen takes a health goals-based approach where you select meals according to your activity level, gender, and recommended calories. Each meal averages about $15, and you can opt for a plan that lasts one, two, or four weeks, saving more for the longer-term plans. With mouthwatering names like Greek Turkey Burgers and Pan Seared Honey Mustard Salmon, Nutrition Kitchen ensures you’ll never be bored at mealtimes.
Another goals-based meal delivery service, YoloFoods’ meal plan — named YoloPlans — offers four options for weight loss, low carb, eating clean, and vegetarian meals. Both full day and half day plans are available, with the option to add drinks and snacks at an extra charge. If you prefer individual meals without the plan, their dishes start at $11.90. Not sure what to pick? Their “Help Me Decide” service puts together recommendations based on your age, gender, daily activity, weight, and height.
Freshness is the name of the game at Our Daily Food, which is halal-certified and offers a wide range of Asian and international dishes in their meal delivery. You can view the menu up to four weeks in advance, and you can also make special requests if you have dietary restrictions. Prices start at $96 for three days of lunch or dinner for two pax, so you can try them out before committing to a longer-term plan.
Fitness buffs looking for a protein fix, here’s your solution. Yummy Bros offers customisable meals where you begin by selecting a protein dish (starts at $9.90), then adding portions and sides. You can opt to receive up to a week’s worth of meals in a single delivery and store them in the fridge for reheating at mealtimes, saving you time and effort on meal prep. All ingredients are guaranteed fresh, since they purchase ingredients only after the orders are in.
Halal-certified Simply Fed offers single meal deliveries, meal plans, and catering. Their meal plan gives you the options of low carb, regular, or a combination of the both so you can have a lighter meal at lunch and a more filling one at dinner. For single meals, you can build your own bowl according to your preferences for protein, greens, and starch.
AMGD provides goal-based meal plans with a twist — they also have options for students and high-performing athletes. Prices start at $9.90 per meal, and they offer poke bowls for single meal deliveries too if you’d prefer not to commit to a plan. AMGD also now has a pay-per-use meal credit system called AMGD Pass, which you can use to purchase meals from AMGD, Beehiiv, and CZ Bakery. Great for gifting to people who love eating healthy.
