Coordinated family togs sure dial up the fun when it comes to those Lunar New Year photos and they’re pretty much here to stay. Over the CNY holidays, we’ve spotted a number of local celebrities and mumfluencers who have embraced the matchy-matchy family aesthetic. Kimberly Chia’s family of three was decked in matching chrysanthemum prints from Le Petit Society. Her chic two-toned panelled dress with slit sleeves is a modern take on the traditional cheongsam.
Chinoiserie-inspired pastel prints of a Chinese garden and oriental motifs adorn the tops of content creator Melissa Koh and her family — husband James Chen and their two sons Asher and Noah. Their outfits are from sustainable apparel label Sea Apple.

It’d be hard to miss actors Melody Chen and Randall Tan, together with their twins Reuben Michael and Maegan Riley, who were all clad in striking orchid-printed ensembles by Bochechas.

You don’t have to wear identical pattern and prints for matching clothes. Local influencer and entrepreneur Drea Chong and her husband Imran Rahim pulled it off by wearing similar shades of blue while their sons twinned in the same light blue print. Her cheongsam’s from her own newly launched fashion label, Good Addition, while her kids wore The Closet Lover.
It doesn’t get more auspicious than full-on yellow-gold outfits, and Choy Wan and her fam look absolutely eye-catching. Her son Dylan James took it down a notch with a white collar shirt that has a hint of yellow to match his folks.
Singapore-based UK actress, model and entrepreneur Brie Benfell got in on the Lunar New Year spirit with her family too — they all sported festive bold-coloured attire from local clothing brand Maison Q. Check out that bunny print on Brie and her son that nod to the Year of the Rabbit.
