A Timeline Of Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Love Story
For her wedding ceremony at St. George’s Chapel, Meghan wore a pair of earrings from world renowned jewellery brand, Cartier, to match the simplicity of her Givenchy dress. The round studs may look simple, but they belong to the brand’s high jewellery collection and they feature diamonds set in white gold.
Cartier was also responsible for the stunning bracelet Meghan wore when she exchanged rings with Prince Harry. It complimented the wedding dress’ 3/4 sleeves perfectly.
Much like Kate Middleton’s wedding, Meghan was given access to the Queen’s vault, where she selected the Queen Mary Diamond Bandeau tiara, which belonged to Prince Harry’s great-great-grandmother, Queen Mary.
For her second look that she wore to her reception, Meghan Markle switched into a halterneck dress from Stella McCartney. With her switch, she opted for a more dramatic jewellery pairing. Her second set of jewellery included this pair of drop earrings from Cartier, which also featured diamonds set in white gold.
And, in what could easily be the most buzzed-about piece of jewellery, Meghan accessorised her reception dress with an aquamarine cocktail ring that belonged to her late mother-in-law. It was the perfect way to incorporate “something borrowed, something blue” into her wedding day, and a sweet gesture of remembrance for the late Princess Diana.
