There will be three new iPhones released this September according to the Apple Keynotes – The iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max. While you may think that it’s just an additional camera lens, the software upgrades that have been given to the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max can actually help you upgrade your photo- and video-taking game.

The iPhone 11 will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB models in purple, green, yellow, black, white and PRODUCT(RED) starting at S$1,149.
The iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max will be available in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB models in midnight green, space grey, silver and gold starting at S$1,649 and S$1,799.
The new 2019 iPhones will be available for pre order on September 13 and starts shipping from September 20 onwards.
The iPhone 11 (shown above), comes in six different colours and is made with anodised aluminium, encased in a glass cover.
The screen is a 6.1″ Liquid Retina display, which essentially means curved edges but you’d be surprised how this lends the screen elegance and fully demonstrates Apple’s commitment to details.
This iPhone is an upgrade from the iPhone XR, with a dual lens (from the previous single lens) and features a 12 MP 26mm f1.8 wide angle lens, as well as an ultra-wide angle 13mm f2.4 lens for a 120-degree field of view.
The new iPhone 11 is dust and water resistant, so you can be worry free when capturing pictures and videos of your kids while at the pool or the beach. We know it’s hard to keep children still and some of the things they do are just too quick for our reflexes, so the new QuickTake mode is perfect for capturing these moments. QuickTake mode allows you to take photos and you can then hold down the shutter button to quickly take a video without missing a beat.
There’s also a new Night Mode which allows you to take photos in low-lighting conditions. We imagine family portraits would now look amazing in dimly-lit restaurants!

It also records 60fps in 4K resolution, for amazing cinematic, slow motion videos. The front-facing camera has improved resolution of 12 MP. They have also added slow-motion to the front facing camera for the first time.
With all these amazing features, you’d think that it would be draining on the battery, but the iPhone 11 has one hour more battery life compared to its predecessor, the iPhone XR.
The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max will be available in four different colours – Space Grey, Silver, Midnight Green and Gold.
The Pro series screens are 5.8″ and 6.5″ respectively and are made with a new OLED display. The screens have also been upgraded to the new Super Retina XDR display, displaying True Tone Colour that just makes the colours pop. The battery life of the iPhone 11 Pro has been tested to perform better than the iPhone XS, with a four hour longer battery life. For the iPhone 11 Pro Max, the battery life is five hours more than the iPhone XS Max.
The adapters of the iPhone Pro series are now fast-charging, allowing you to quickly charge your iPhone Pro so they don’t run out of juice.

The new iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max feature three different camera lenses on the back – wide, tele and a new ultra-wide, never before seen on an iPhone. The wide uses a 28mm, f1.8 lens, the tele camera is a 52mm f2.0 while the ultra-wide is a 13mm f2.4 with the same 120-degree field of view as the iPhone 11.
Using the native camera in the iPhone now allows you to zoom in two times and zoom out two times depending on how you want to frame your picture.
There are a host of camera apps that utilises the new camera lenses, most notably, Filmic Pro which was demonstrated at the Apple Keynotes event.
Filmic Pro is able to tap on each of these camera lenses (including the front-facing selfie camera) to give a real-time field of view for each of the camera. You can shoot with multiple cameras at the same time with Filmic Pro – imagine the reaction videos you could do during surprise birthday parties and celebrations.
