Install a unique sculptural piece to greet guests with at the entrance. It works for small homes as well, as you can make the space function by placing the art piece on a sideboard or cabinet which you can double up as shoe storage. Placing art on a pedestal also makes your home look more expensive, and will definitely be a talking point!

Keep things interesting with a mix of small and large works on one wall – the larger pieces offer focal points in the room, while the smaller ones you’ll need to get up close. Play with frame sizes and picture sizes too, and not every picture has to fill up the entire frame. It’s all up to your creative imagination! Make sure to balance out the colours as well for a more pleasing aesthetic.

When you put something on the wall, you also create a void around it. If the space around is too empty, it can make your artwork look smaller and less impressive. Create a frame with washi tape or add a sideboard below to create a beautiful scenario.
