Get Ready Easily With Your Baby With These 7 Nursery Organisation Tips For A Small Room
1. Drawer dividers

Separate small items easily and locate them simply at a glance with drawer dividers. As small things tend to get lost more easily, with the divider you can now segregate the baby napkins from the booties and gloves that is much easier to see and access.

2. Use a changing tray

If you have no space for a changing table in the room, opt for a changing tray which you can place on a dresser. The dresser can be used for storing the baby supplies while the flat surface on top of the dresser can be used as a diaper-changing station for your little one. Find a dresser that reaches your waist or higher so that you will be able to change your baby’s soiled diapers more comfortably with less of the need to inflict strain on the back.

3. Hang wall pockets

Hang a wall pocket ideally with see through pockets so that it is easy for you or your helper to identify what you need. Best of all the wall pocket can be hung inside a closet so that it doesn’t occupy much space in the room.

4. Organize clothes by length

Be it on the days leading up to the birth of your baby, or on your baby’s full month birthday celebration, you will be sure to receive many adorable baby clothing. Instead of storing them in their gift boxes and leaving them at the back of the closet, take them out and organise them based on length.  Also, as babies grow at different rates and size, you will be able to find the right clothing size for yours based on length rather than tag size. Best of all, this method reduces clutter as well!

5. Give away overgrown clothing

Instead of piling up the overgrown clothing in a bag in the corner of the room, make sure that the items are given away quickly. It’s easy to get swept up by procrastination and parenting responsibilities, but clearing away clutter in the nursery will help to maximise space. This will then also help you to feel more at peace when there is less mess in the room.

6. Set up a diaper station or an extra diaper bag

Besides shaving off precious minutes searching for different items in different parts of the room, keep a diaper station or at least a diaper bag on hand in the nursery. If you have an extra kitchen cart, use this to store the wet-wipes, toiletries and burp cloths.

7. Make use of crib space

To maximise space in the room, use the space under the crib to store your baby items. Put baby necessities in a clear storage box for convenient access especially on nights when you are running low on sleep and patience.
