Here are 7 e-waste recycling programmes in Singapore to send your old and unused electronics:
Launched by Starhub on Earth Hour in 2012, RENEW is a flagship e-waste recycling programme. It allows the recycling of almost any electronic product including DVD players and even car stereos.
Electronic items will be accepted regardless of brand or the place where the item was purchased so long as it is able to fit through the bin’s 470mm x 120mm slot.
RENEW bins can be found at selected stores at these four major electronic retailers – Best Denki, Courts, Gain City and Harvey Norman around Singapore.

Launched on World Environment Day in 2017, the programme ReCYCLE provides the opportunity for people to be more environmentally-friendly by recycling electronic devices including modems and other related accessories like lithium batteries and cables.
You can even mail your unwanted mobile device and accessories with no postage fees with the ReCYCLE envelopes that can be collected from any Singtel Shop, Singtel Exclusive Retailer outlet and Post Office.
ReCYCLE bins are available for drop-offs of mobile and internet related electronic products, regardless of brand, that fit through the deposit slot.

The residents of Punggol can now easily step up their eco-friendly game with the e-waste recycling initiatives right under their noses.
Organised by Virogreen (Singapore) Pte Ltd, in conjunction with Punggol 21 Community Club Management Committee (CCMC) the Eco-Drive is an e-waste recycling programme for Punggol North residents. Happening around Punggol from Punggol 21 CC and the RCs of Punggol Oasis, Coral, Cove, Gardens, Oceanus and more, residents are able to recycle most electronic or electrical items, that fit through the deposit slot. This includes PCs, laptops, mobile phones and accessories, radios, electric irons and more.

The M1 Drop-off Point Programme is a joint effort between M1 Limited & Virogreen (Singapore) Pte Ltd to promote responsible disposal of e-waste.
What differentiates this initiative from the others is that it even accepts the recycling of SIM cards and memory cards that can be inserted into a specially designed slot found on the bin. Other items that can be recycled are most electrical and electronic items including laptops, mobile phones, chargers and cables.
Available at M1 shops at Waterway Point, Tampines Mall, Causeway Point and Paragon.
Perfect for North East residents, the E-waste Recycling @ North East is a collaboration between NECDC and Virogreen (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Items that can be recycled includes most electrical and electronic items so long as it fits through the deposit slot.

As Singapore’s first eco-mall, City Square Mall leads the pack with its green initiative.The e-waste Recycling Programme accepts most electronic or electrical items, including PCs, laptops, mobile phones, electric desk fans, radios, kettles, electric irons, and more. The drop-off point is at City Square Mall’s L2 Customer Service Counter.
