Kate Middleton is no stranger to being a royal fashion icon, but her latest outing may just be her best and more Singapore-appropriate one yet.
In a surprise appearance at the Royal Horticultural Society’s garden in Wisley, and she was picture perfect in a blue floral midi dress from English designer Emilia Wickstead.
The loose fit of the dress and the breezy cotton seersucker fabric allows for the duchess to keep her cool underneath the hot afternoon sun – a situation that most Singaporean women are completely familiar with. It allowed her to move freely as she interacted with the public without having to worry about heating up or breaking a sweat.
To complete her look, she teamed it with simple beige wedges that gave the overall look a sense of polish and ease.
If anything, this is the perfect look for our local weather. It keeps you looking stylish, but you don’t have to fuss too much about remaining in the A/C during your lunch break. Plus, the midi hemline also makes this appropriate for the office, and the muted floral print isn’t too distracting.
