No one likes a camel toe, unless you’re a camel herder out in the desert. But when you’re meeting up in a very public place, the last thing you’d want is for a camel toe to have a little peek-a-boo visit mid-drinks or during dinner. Not very fun, and certainly not very comfortable either.
There are easy ways to avoid the CT, but first, let’s talk about the camel toe. We all know it’s a faux pas, and one that usually attracts furtive glances and sniggering, but do you know why you’re getting one?
No one escapes The Toe, not even Wonder Woman!
The simple answer is that your pants are too tight. When a pair of pants is made, it features an inseam (to help you visualise, think of the inseam as the line where the front zipper goes on your jeans). During the early stages of a pair of pants’ life, the maker will have to decide how much inseam he/she should give. The lesser the inseam allowance, the more the pants pulls upwards and into your nether regions. This creates the unwanted camel toe.
Lightweight fabrics are also a culprit in giving you the toe. Given that they are flimsier, they naturally cling to every curve and groove your body has.
Now, if you’re halfway through the day and you realise that you’ve got a little camel situation, don’t worry. The feeling is familiar, and you can easily rectify it. Scroll down to see our little helpful guide on how you can avoid a case of the camel toe.
